A girl with black hair and snake green eyes that had an aura of mystery around her that drew people in.
With jet-black hair cascaded down her back in loose waves, almost as if it was alive and had a will of its own. Her eyes were the color of emerald green, but with a sharpness that made them seem almost snake-like.
She moved with a grace and fluidity that was both mesmerizing and unsettling, like a snake slithering through the grass.
Her skin was pale, almost translucent, the only thing that identified her as part of the children was the brown compound ware she had on.
The girl with black hair and piercing green eyes approached the injured girl with a slow, deliberate gait. Her movements were measured and confident, as if she knew exactly what she was doing.
As the green eyed girl drew closer to where the injured girl was standing, She saw the look of extreme hate etched on her face as she gazed at the retreating backs of the other girls.
The big nosed girl heard a soft chuckle and turned to see the green-eyed girl standing behind her. "Feeling angry, are we?" The green eyed girl said, a sly smile on her face.
The big nosed girl glared at her, her anger boiling over. "You're damn right I'm angry," she spat. "And I'll make sure that whoever did this to me pays for it."
"tsk tsk tsk. So you couldn't even land a hit." The green eyed girl taunted.
The big nosed girl's anger boiled within her chest as she stared at her feet, too embarrassed to look up and face the person talking.
"So what is your name?" The girl eyed girl asked.
"Greta…Why are you even here and what do you want?" She asked as she gazed at the pale skinned beaut in front of her.
"Why am I here? I think that is obvious. And for what I want…let's just say friendship!" The green eyed girl said she said, her voice smooth and silky.
The girl with the big nose looked at the green-eyed girl with suspicion, not quite sure what to make of her sudden change in attitude. "Friendship?" she repeated, her tone skeptical.
The green-eyed girl just smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Yes, friendship," she said. "I think we could be great friends, you and I."
The girl with the big nose raised an eyebrow. "And what makes you think that?" she asked.
The green-eyed girl shrugged. "I just have a feeling," she said.
Greta's voice was cool and detached as she spoke, "Well, I don't need a friend." She brushed her gown and hair with a dismissive flick to remove the dried twigs and leaves that clung to them, as if she were removing unwanted distractions from her life.
The green-eyed girl stood beside Greta, watching her with amusement as she dusted off her gown and hair. A wide smile crept across her face, as if she found Greta's behavior amusing. She seemed to be enjoying the scene, and her bright green eyes sparkled with mischief.
Greta threw a quick glance at the green-eyed girl before turning away and striding off in a brisk pace. The girl's amused expression didn't leave her face as she watched Greta's retreating back, her green eyes following her every move. It was as if the green-eyed girl knew something about Greta that she didn't, and she was silently enjoying the game of cat and mouse.
Greta froze in her tracks as soon as she heard the green-eyed girl's voice behind her. "You thirst for revenge," the girl said, her words cutting through the silence like a knife. Greta turned around slowly, her eyes narrowing as she tried to read the girl's expression. The green-eyed girl's face was inscrutable.
"I can help you," the green-eyed girl continued, holding Greta's gaze with her own. There was something about the girl's confidence that made Greta drawn in.
Greta hesitated for a moment, unsure if the girl could do what she said, but something in her gut told her to take a chance.
Greta nodded slowly, and the green-eyed girl's smile widened even more. "So what do you have to gain for helping me?" Greta asked, her voice tinged with suspicion.
She couldn't shake the feeling that the green-eyed girl had ulterior motives for offering her help. The girl's smile didn't falter, though, and she met Greta's gaze with a steady look.
"The green-eyed girl's smile turned slightly mischievous. "Let's just say, you will owe me a favor," she said, her voice low and almost teasing. Greta raised an eyebrow, wondering what the girl had in mind. She had a feeling that the "favor" would be significant, but she didn't have much of a choice at this point.
"Fair enough," Greta said, trying to sound nonchalant. "What do we do now?"
The green-eyed girl's expression suddenly changed, and she grinned mischievously. "Oh, now we go join the others," she said, her voice light and playful as she moved to pick up her bowl.
Greta moved to do the same and followed behind the green eyed girl.
Greta walked behind the green-eyed girl, her footsteps echoing softly on the ground. After a few moments of silence, she spoke up.
"So, you never offered your name," she said, trying to keep her tone neutral. She was curious about the girl, but didn't want to give away too much of her own thoughts or feelings.
The green-eyed girl glanced back at her, her smile still in place. "Oh, right. I'm sorry," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I guess I got a little carried away. You can call me Lira."
Greta instinctively felt uneasy around Lira, sensing something off about her, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. As much as she tried to push the feeling aside, but she chalked it up to her not trusting her because they just met.
Lira continued to smile, her gaze fixed on Greta. "Revenge! Revenge! Revenge!" she said in a honeyed voice as she happily skipped through the trees.
Greta forced a smile, the way Lira kept changing was getting on her nerves but she decided to play along for now, but made a mental note to keep her guard up around her as she could not fully trust her.
