Trinaest Mini Bogova
Only two others were also staying still, yet looking around but always kept glancing at me then at each other.
One was 'built' like a tank with a faint green skin and two tusks arched out of the corner of his mouth. I believe his species was named Orc, and he had a Smithing Apron with a large hammer on his back and some types of chisels on his hip.
He had different rings on some of his fingers, his hair was braided with circular rings entwined every so often that it reached his shoulders. His eyes looked sharp and experienced and he had a snake dragon eating its own tail as large earrings in each ear with a small red spider in one earring and a small pure white dancing spider in the other.
The other person seemed like a small child in enlarged warm looking Arch-Mage Robes. Taking a closer look, the child's face was more like a young female Fairies face. Which is similar to us elves only round in some corners and had deer like eyes and were more skittish.
Taking a good look at the ones at the long table I saw six males and four females all humanistic and had roughly the same type of food Infront of them as some began to share and give and take what they didn't or didn't like to eat.
The other Ten were stuffing their faces as if they hadn't eaten anything in Eons! Four of the boys had similar hair styles which was matted or braided but all had different colors all wearing half dressed fur or leather armor. One boy had short hair slicked back like a noble's and wore a suit. The last male had a military buzz cut and was in army looking short sleeve and cargo pants.
The four girls all had long hair all in different styles. There were pigtails, ponytails, space buns, and a braided pig ponytail. They ranged from shorts and T shirts, revealing leather armor, a dress, and boot cut pants with tiny pockets and a long bell sleeve shirt.
The unknown desire to stuff my face as I watched them was replaced by the creepy feeling of being in a monster's den. The 'Butler' noticed some of us not eating and his face darkened for a brief instance, as he walked in the direction of the food, causing the others to stop and look at him like he had committed a crime.
"I Mean No Harm!" He said with his palms raised to show he wasn't a threat, "It Is Just My Confusion On Why Some Of You Will Not Eat When There Is Food Offered. Please Explain?" He asked sincerely, making the ones eating take a quick glance around and saw three of us not eating.
"Oi! It's Good Food! Come Join Us!" One of the males hollered across the table.
Putting my Hands behind my back I said loudly and calmly, " I don't eat with those I don't know! Plus I just came here after a huge battle and I haven't been able to eat the meat of the monster I killed! Alas I Don't See It's Meat Here! So I will Pass on the food. But..." Bowing towards the Butler in a respectable but not honorable bow, "I'm not hungry right now for my body is still trying to adjust to the Promotion my Goddess gave me. Thank you for your generosity!"
The other two still standing also bowed and replied, "I'm in a similar situation, thank you for the offer!" x2 and bowed as well.
Some of the ones eating scoffed,
"Goddess! AH Only Strong Males Can Be God's!" x4
" Blasphemy! There is only one God!" x2
" Liar's! There are NO Male Gods, Only Goddesses!" x4
Silence followed shortly after the outbursts, the Butler tilted his head and smirked, " That's Why You Are Here!"
Confused faces turned toward him as what he said was being processed.
"You're The New Gods And Goddesses! You're Now Sibling Gods For When You Are Done Eating Will Make Your Own Domain!" The Butler gestured towards the uneaten food In Front of the ten and they paused and looked at each other then scarfed down the remaining food Infront of them, leaving the other threes untouched.
I saw it this time...
His darkened face smirked in delight! Quickly glancing at the other two, I saw that they saw what I had seen and did the same as our eyes met briefly and we recomposed ourselves quickly before he looked in our direction.
Thuds soon echoed the Hall and chairs scooted back without a sound, the Ten stood up together like it was a race or something.
Taking a tentative step forward I swear I was on a platform earlier when I had blinked the Truth, but the cloud looking ground was solid. Taking a few more steps I walked with the others to where the Butler was indicating us to follow him. The Orc and the Fey followed my example and moved when I moved as we went closer to where I had noticed the large platform off to the side of the table in that one room.
I muttered in a really low tone while looking at where they should be in caparison, "Snow Mountain. Windy Mountain. Swamp. Golden City. Blue City. Forest. Volcano. Plains. Burn Ground. Crystal Seas. Dark Seas. Cave Beach. Shadow Mines."
But I saw nothing but moved closer to where the Shadow Mines was previously located. Unaware that the two had heard me also moved to where I had indicated what was what they thought were where they would best strive to survive.
Once everyone was gathered, a blinding light flash and warmth flowed over everyone and felt comfortable... Which shocked the Elf as she was expecting the slimy feeling, yet this feeling was rather the opposite and true presence of a High God of sorts. Once sight returned, a large giant figure stood in front of us with a welcoming aura.
"ODEN!" Most of the males shouted as they knelt on one knee with the opposite hand over their chest.
"Father of the Gods! Hear Our Plea!" The guy who was first to eat became the first to speak, "These Blasphemers around us claim other Gods are Female and Deny Your Existence! Please Punish Them For Their Lies!" Pointing to those of us who haven't bowed.
Taking a good look at his face I noticed his eyes... He Had Both Of Them!! Turning my attention to everyone around me I saw the two watching me suddenly confused at my quick spinning around...
Then I noticed it!
The Child with an Eye Patch amongst us! Clearing my throat loudly, The ones kneeling gave me dirty looks but they dared not to move. I paced around in a random pattern while ignoring their gazes and said,
"Those who blindly follow will miss what is important when it is in front of their faces! I have stated that I only follow my Goddess! BECAUSE I AM LOYAL!" Raising my voice while I am now in-between them and Oden. Hands on my hips I swayed as I walked towards the Hidden Child with no straight object in mind, "I 'acknowledge' The Father of my Goddess! BUT! I WILL ONLY BOW TO TRUE GODS!" Coming to a stop in front of the child I then placed a hand over my heart and grabbed my shoulder and bent my knee all the way down to the floor.
Gasps rang out around me as I stayed still, confident in my choice. One thud sounded near me and I tilted my head slightly to see the Orc in the same position. A faint soft thud sound on my other side, tilting my head that way I saw the Faye also in the same position. Smirking softly we stayed in this position even as the ones who first knelt became enraged as the face of Oden that they were knelt to smiled happily and disappeared, making those males seem embarrassed.
"One Eye Oden, All Father of the Gods! We beseech your forgiveness for not recognizing you!" They exclaimed while laying their heads down on the ground while on both their knees in our direction.
:HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!: Laughter filled my head but not my ears, :OH WHAT A GOOD TIME! HAHAHAHAHA!: The Child with the eye patch grew taller and more muscular with each laugh, until he became an adult male who looked old yet young at the same time. :YOU! LOYAL SNOW ELF! WHAT DO YOU CALL YOURSELF?!" He asked with his hand outstretched to me.
Looking up but not getting up I reply with a straight face, "Soran Gardener of Shadows!"

Confusion filled Sorans' being as she thought back to the odd looking lab-like place she was taken to before coming here. Looking back at Oden then where she had originally stood kept thinking of how's and why's.

"B... but ... I... didn't eat what they offered!" Soran exclaimed in disbelief.
In a sort of whisper Oden lowered his gaze, :You didn't have to. They killed you three by numbing you with gas and exploded their ships while you were in a mental link connected to the others here who died by food poisoning! ..... which seems to be their favorite way of doing so.:
As his words sank in everyone else frantically looked around and noticed that the table where they ate at was nowhere to be seen as well as the Butler who accompanied them to dine was at.
Dread filled their being as the truth sank in that they died.
"Does th.. that meant that what he... it... said was a lie?" One of the girls with the space bun hair style asked as she fell to her knees.
:NO WHAT IT SAID WAS CORRECT! YOU ARE GOING TO BE, THE THIRTEEN MINI GODS OF THIS NEW WORLD!"
