Matigai was taken to a room where a holographic device showing thousands of names was displayed infront of him. The god Hermes stood next to Matigai. "Here young God slayer. You will pick a team of four to join you on your life long journey. These are the best worriors in the multiverse. Each if them strong and top of the food chain in their dimensions. When you pick a name I'll give you a brief summary of that person and 3 feats they made." "Ok I'll start." Matigai went over to the device and saw a name. He picked that name instinctively. "Ahh. Aterus. Great choice. No god knows his history well. His an immortal knight that roams the world fighting strong opponents. His first feat is that he had strength enough to best a Cyclops in arm wrestling. His second feat was that he was fast enough to out run his own shadow. His third feat is that he took down three nations alone. Do you pick Aterus?" "Yes. I pick Aterus. (He sounds like he can handle God slaying.)" In an instant a knight with grey armor appeared. His armor strangely had a sort of crown on its helmet and it had fine jewels. He also had a red ragged cape showing it had seen it's own share of battle. He turned and approached the god. "Who are you! Why am I here!" "Aterus you've been selected as a god slayer. And you've been put in Mr. Aoi's team." "If I disagree?" "Then you won't be paid handsomely." "I accept." "Now Matigai your next pick." Matigai saw the word king next to a person and he picked that person. "King Spaz Dragon of Redwood. Spaz is a king, knight and great tournament winner. Spaz went from a peasant to a squire then he started competing in tournament beside his knight. He then became a knight and a lord. From that he won a great tournament and became the king. His a great shot and is amazing with every held weapon. Do you pick Spaz?" "Yes. Wow his quite remarkable." Spaz was summoned and he was wearing shining silver armor but it was light armor and a king robe but used as a cape. Spaz wore no helmet. He had brown hair and green eyes. He was english. "Ahh good lords why am I here?" "Your here to join Mr. Aoi's god slayer team." "A new challenge. I accept." "Now Matigai pick another." Matigai picked a name that intrigued him. "Miss Tundra. The storm of the elves. She is the proclaimed guardian of elves. She down the humans and pushed them back in a battle war for land. While she is a human herself she sided with elves. She was only rivaled by one human Hoshi. Do you pick Tundra?" "Yes and my last pick is Hoshi." Hermes summoned both girls. The two girls instantly raised their weapons at Aterus and Spaz. Hoshi and Tundra seemed to have a lot of synchronicity which confused Matigai. "Oh I forgot to mention Hoshi later became the human elven diplomat. And became close with Tundra. You two ladies have been chosen as part of the god slaying team under Mr. Aoi's command." The two instantly excepted because they were adventurers before their respective titles. With his team formed Matigai got his first mission from the Jade Emperor. "My mission for the god slayers is to Imprison Sun Wukong the monkey king." The team set off. They had a long journey in front of them.
