D-Rank Dungeon Raid (VI)

"What are we going to do with all of this?" Darvyn exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise and excitement, as beads of sweat trickled from his forehead.

Karan glanced at him and replied, "There's too much. Since none of us have a space artifact, let's just take as many as we can then we'll inform the rest group about this place."

Just as he spoke, he moved over to the big mound of dungeon stones with a large sack bag in his hand. Seeing this, the rest members of the group also took out their sac bags and followed suit.

A few minutes passed and they were busy filling up their sacs. Suddenly, they all furrowed their brows and glanced towards the entrance to the cave.

'So soon?'

They were shocked because they noticed movements at the entrance. This meant that some group of people must have discovered this place and were heading in their direction. But there was nothing to worry about since there were more than enough dungeon stones for everyone.

Thinking this, they retracted their attention and continued filling up their sacs with dungeon stones. A few moments later, the Ghost Scorpion guild comprising of twenty people arrived at the scene. Seeing the huge pile of dungeon stones, they couldn't hide their astonishment as they stared at it with shock and bewilderment.

Just then, Fabien the leader of the Ghost Scorpion team stepped forward with a dark expression and said coldly, "What the hell are you guys doing? Do you have a death wish or are you just stupid?"

Karan and the rest members of the group halted their actions and glanced back at him with confused gazes.

Seeing this, Fabien snorted and said, "Don't you dare act like you don't know anything. A member of ours discovered this place first and came over to call the rest members of the team. Who would have thought that you despicable low lives would try to steal the dungeon stone as soon as he left?"

"..."

The eyes of Front Liners and Desert Serpent guild members widened and a sudden realization came to their minds.

"Tch, tch!" Derek stepped forward clicking his tongue in annoyance. "A member of yours discovered this place first? How could you come up with such a blatant lie? You aren't afraid that the wind will cut off your tongue?"

"Who the hell do you think you're talking to? Forget the fact that we're currently in a dungeon do you think I don't dare to cripple you right here?" Fabien retorted angrily.

"Do you have the guts?" Derek responded with a cold grin.

Both of them stared at each other intensely with their eyes seeming to spit fire. It was like they couldn't wait to tear each other to pieces making people wonder how deep their resentment must have been.

Actually, this wasn't the first time they were having this kind of outburst. They even fought numerous times in the past and their rivalry seemed to be growing stronger.

As fellow D rankers, both of them were strong pillars in their guilds. Ghost Scorpion guild was ranked first in Regan's tournament, while Desert Serpent guild came out second. Their last encounter in the tournament was so bloody that the fight had to be stopped by the moderator. Derek and Fabien were the main highlights that day and their intense momentum caused the crowd to go haywire.

Seeing their confrontation, Karan sighed lightly and said, "What's the need for all this? Have a look at these numerous dungeon stones, there's more than enough for everyone. Why don't we just focus on taking the ones we can instead of having a pointless confrontation?"

It was obvious that the Ghost Scorpion guild was just fabricating the whole thing because that was all they knew how to do. If it was true that a member of their group found this place first, he would have tried breaking the barrier to see what was inside. The barrier had grown weak that it crumbled down in a single strike. He didn't mention anything about the barrier which meant they weren't aware of it.

They would bully other smaller guilds for resources or anything valuable. The reason for their arrogance and fearlessness was because they were the largest and strongest guild in Regan with two D rankers in their team. They had several branches with high-rank guild members in other cities so they weren't easy to provoke.

Fabien glanced at him and said, "What makes you think we are going to share?"

Karan furrowed his brows.

Not willing to share…Even if they wanted, would they be able to take all these dungeon stones? Just then, a sudden realization hit him.

'Space Artifact?'

Since they wanted to take the whole dungeon stones for themselves didn't that mean they had a space artifact? It wouldn't be a surprise because they could always get high-rank artifacts from their branches in other cities.

"You think we are weaklings and easy to be bullied? Not even a piece of these dungeon stones will be given to you." Derek clamored fiercely. A deep trace of anger flickered through his eyes.

Hearing Derek's words, Karan couldn't help cursing under his breath. Why was this guy so unreasonable? Did he think they were all D-rankers like himself? The Ghost Scorpion guild had twenty people with two D-rankers included. Even if the Front Liners and the Desert Serpent guild joined forces, they wouldn't even stand a chance against them.

The best thing for them to do right now was to find a way to inform the rest raid team about this place. That way they would be able to prevent the Ghost Scorpion guild from taking all the dungeon stones.

"Derek or whatever your name is, you should know that you can eat discriminately but you aren't allowed to talk discriminately. In what way do you view our Ghost Scorpion guild? Taking what is rightfully ours and you dare to call us bullies?" Wilkass, the second D-ranker in the Ghost Scorpion guild seemed to have gotten fed up by Derek's words and spoke loudly.

Derek smiled coldly and said in a provoking tone, "If hearing the truth can make you this angry, why not turn over a new leaf so that people can view you differently?"

Hearing this, Fabien clicked his tongue angrily and said, "You were so lucky during our last encounter that the fight had to be stopped. It seems my failure to teach you a lesson has caused you to view yourself above the cloud." Just as he spoke, he took out a small staff and his aura suddenly soared.

Derek drew a pair of daggers from his sheath, and his aura shot up as well.

The pressure of the two caused the entire cave to tremble, and cast a heavy pressure on the E-rankers.

Just then, Fabien glanced at the rest members of his guild and said, "I need some time to tidy up this brat. I'll leave the rest of them to you guys." Saying that, he proceeded to chant loudly with the small staff raised up in the air.
