Chapter 18: Control and Resolve

When she had beckoned me, my mind suddenly went blank for a moment... as the curse finally took control of me.

Lightning coursed through my veins and muscles... and I subconsciously used this lightning-amplified body of mine to immediately rush toward the silver-haired temptress...!

THUD!

In that single instance of temptation, I had just pushed down the Guild Master, Yunxia, onto her wooden office desk. I pinned both of her arms to the desk, shoving aside and clearing out every content and object that had been on it.

Now, what was left was only me... and this vixen of a woman... as I stared hungrily at her lust-filled expression. My control over my libido had been shattered, and now it was controlling my very actions, ready to unleash and ravage the woman who had tempted and humiliated me to no end...!

"Madam!" I heard the panic-filled shout of the 'snake eyes' woman, feeling not just the dreadful pressure of her supposed magical predator's eyes, but also an immense killing intent. "Let go of her, you damn perverted beast!"

I looked back from pinning the Guild Master to the desk... and I saw her subordinate's glowing ethereal eyes glaring at me as she was ready to neutralize me at all costs...

Even if it meant striking me down like the rabid animal I was acting like right now, for even daring to touch her master.

"Hilda, stand down," the 'madam' commanded, her voice cutting through the tension like a blade as she directed her attention toward the so-called Hilda.

In that moment, I saw what her actual serious expression was... as she glared at her subordinate, seemingly annoyed by the disturbance.

"B-but, madam...!" Hilda stammered, her voice laced with disbelief and desperation. "Why would you allow this man to violate your body like this?! Just because he possesses a God's relic, it doesn't grant him the right to defile you!"

'God's Relic...?' I echoed in my mind, curious over the implication of her specific wording.

However, it wasn't enough to actually stop my curse from acting up. My libido was still controlling me—not allowing me to remove myself from pinning the Guild Master to the wooden office desk of hers.

I could feel 'it' urging me to keep pushing her down... and finally "consume" her already.

"Do not question my methods," Guild Master Yunxia coldly commanded her subordinate, her voice carrying an undeniable authority. "I know exactly what I'm doing."

"B-but... madam..."

"Do not disturb my work," the 'madam' continued her reprimand, her very words laced with intense irritation. She threw a deep glare filled with her wrath toward her 'servant' for insubordination. "I will not tolerate any further objections. Remember your place... Hilda."

A moment of tense silence ensued between the two... while I was the only thing in between them. It almost felt like I didn't exist amidst these two enigmas' quarrel...

"Yes, ma'am..." the subordinate Hilda finally settled down. The intense pressure of both her magical predator's eyes and even her killing intent slowly died down... and finally vanished. It was as if she had literally closed her eyes and averted her attention from us.

And now... we were back again where we left off. I was still pinning her down on the office desk... and her serious expression was gone... replaced with the same lustful beast that had tempted me...!

"I'm sorry for the interruption, Mr. Isaac..." this vixen of a woman apologized on her subordinate's behalf, her voice sultry and filled with mischievous delight. "Now then, please, continue to indulge yourself~."

My heart started beating faster the moment those words left her mouth. It was as if she had coated those words with aphrodisiac... and it almost made my mind go crazy.

But she didn't stop there.

"Come on, Mr. Isaac~," she began, her words starting to feel hazy to my lust-filled mind. "Ravage me, consume me, make a mess out of me, and finally... become mine forever~!"

My mind truly snapped at that provocation of hers and it completely went blank. In that single moment, my whole being was ready to be unleashed upon this temptress of a woman for daring to offer herself to me...!

But then suddenly... a single thought crossed my mind—someone who mattered deeply to me.

'You really, really made me worry there... please be more careful next time, alright?'

In that single instance, I remembered those words that this person had said to me...

And it gave me a semblance of control over my body.

I gritted my teeth as I mustered all of my willpower toward my right hand... and it finally let go of the left arm of the Guild Master.

"Mr. Isaac?" The woman herself seemed curious about what I was doing as I raised my right arm high into the air...

And I formed a fist out of that arm—ready to strike.

"So... is that your answer?" She inquired, her previous lustful expression and voice gone, replaced with a cold, indifferent tone.

"Madam!" her subordinate shouted in panic once more, and I could instantly feel the familiar intense killing intent. "Let go of her!"

And eventually, I swung my fist...

...toward my own face.

THUD!

In that single instance, I had punched the side of my head so hard, I might have actually dislocated my own jaw in the process.

The shock on Guild Master Yunxia's face was undeniable; her eyes widened in genuine surprise at my unexpected action.

"What...?!"

I even heard the startled gasp and surprise from the 'snake's eyes' woman, who had likely witnessed the bizarre sight of a man, moments away from pouncing on her master, suddenly punching himself in the face instead.

It must have been quite the shock for both of them... and despite the situation...

"Heh... hehe..."

... I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle of amusement.

With the stinging pain on my face from my self-inflicted blow, I finally regained control over my body and released the Guild Master, taking a few steps back away from her.

Reeling from the pain, my gaze dropped to the floor...

"Guild Master..." I addressed her by her title, my voice steady despite the lingering pain.

"Yes, Mr. Isaac...?" Her cold demeanor had shifted, replaced with a curious one.

I slowly lifted my head, meeting her curious gaze with mine... filled with sincerity.

"Thank you for your offer, but... I would like to politely refuse, ma'am."
