Background Reveal and Bribes

While Jin and the gang was making a mess in the Diner Hall. Some people were discussing about the recent events that took place on a certain class of second year students.

Glynda was walking back and forth in Ozpin's office while holding her scroll. She was walking angrily as she nagged on and on.

"I knew it! I shouldn't have agreed on making that boy an instructor! You know what he is! He is a killer! A criminal! A savage mercenary! A thief! You knew that, yet you made him into an instructor?! What the hell can he possibly teach?! It was fine that we made him into a student in our Academy, but to be an instructor?! You know how he works! This is just his first day and he already injured some students for not listening to him!"

Glynda kept nagging and screaming at Ozpin, while the man himself just sipped his mug of hot chocolate milk as he listened on to her rant silently.

"Just what do you think can that boy teach to our students?! Sure he may be strong and experienced, but his methods is too brutal! Do you want our Academy to have a reputation of beating our own students?! Do you want our students to be afraid of the instructors?! NO! No you don't! Worst of all you just watched him injure those students! Why would you do that?! You should've stopped him! He was obviously going to far!"

Glynda ended her rant with her hand slamming on the desk and a glare to the headmaster. She was quite stressed because her work today was extremely busier than the normal days. This is because many staffs and instructors couldn't go to work for some reason.

She had to handle most of their work so she was on a foul mood, and after hearing what the new 'instructor' just did, she finally snapped. Her rant carried all the pent up stress that's been building up for today.

Ozpin took a sip of his chocolate milk while watching Glynda taking quick and deep breaths, finally cooling down and relaxing.

"You feel better now?" Ozpin asked. He knew that Glynda was just venting earlier. She normally wouldn't react like that or scream at him if there was problem, especially if the problem was as little as the current one.

Glynda adjusted her glasses before saying in a settled tone, "Yes, I'm fine now."

"So, what are you gonna do with our new instructor? Despite his 'not-to-be-disobeyed' and interruption-hating' mentality when teaching, I can actually see that he can teach the students very well. That is, if they don't piss him off." Ozpin said.

Glynda sighed, "I'm going to have a looong talk about his methods. But, I do believe that he can teach the students well."

Jin Rose, also known to some people as 'The Punisher', was a well reputed mercenary and bounty hunter. A man that wears a mask with a painted fiery demonic teeth in his work.

(Authors Note: Search 'Uberstrike Mask of the Deathbringer' so you can have a better image of what his mask looks like.)

A person who was a known hunter and killer of criminals, thieves, bandits, drug lords and etc. The Punisher was said to be a sadistic man with peerless might, able to take down hundreds of Grimms on his own.

He was a person that was a ruthless killer and hunter of criminals in Vale, hence they titled him as 'The Punisher'. He was a major factor of the reasons why criminal activities were significantly reduced in Vale.

But, the man was also known to do some criminal and illegal activities himself. Such as stealing some high tech equipment in Atlas, extra judicial killings, assassinating individuals with a high status in society, and more.

Because of all his work, its safe to say that Jin is an expert in many kinds of fields regarding tactics and combat.

"No need to do that Glynda. I'll talk to him instead." Ozpin said in an assuring tone.

"You better. I don't want to scare our future defenders of the world to death because of that boy." Glynda said as she picked up her scroll.

"Don't worry about that, he will only be teaching tactics and strategies, not combat training. So he won't be applying some harsh training sessions on the students. The only issue we have here is him being too harsh in his punishments, which is a thing that can easily be resolved." Ozpin said as he took a sip on his drink.

Glynda relaxed upon hearing his words before reviewing the contents on her scroll. In the scroll, was the records of the offenses that the four students did within the school.

Blackmailing, Severe cases of Bullying, Cheating in tests, and even rumours of them raping a Faunus student. The majority of their offenses were proven true with the second year students backing it up.

"So, do you still want to suspend those four students?" Ozpin asked.

"I guess we can suspend these scums....no they should be expelled....Nevermind, it would be a waste to throw away these students, they can still become hunters. But still, we have to do something about that boy's recent actions to the students. No matter how high their offense was, his punishments was still too brutal." Glynda said as she putted down the scoll.

"Yes, I know. We'll just have him help in staff work as a penalty then." Ozpin said as he began picking up some papers.

With that, the four students were suspended for the rest of the year. Though they were almost expelled, since it turns out that there have been reports of them breaking many of Beacon Academy's rules in many occassions and even doing illegal work.

.....

It was night time.

Most of the students were now back to their dorms while some were still doing some stuff in the Academy.

Jin was chilling in the library with his scroll. He was searching for some fanfictions that he finds interesting to read, and right now he was reading Septiplier fanfictions.

Earlier this afternoon, he was called into Ozpin's office, much to his expectation. He was expecting for Glynda to be there to nag at him for his recent actions, but no.

Glynda was there, but she didn't do anything. Instead, Ozpin called for him to tell him that he was going to help in staff work. Glynda was just there to take him to his work place.

It turns out that Beacon Academy was understaffed since many of the staff was absent today. The workload on the other staffs increased cause they had to do some of the work that the other staffs are suppose to do.

So, Jin was going to help the staff as one of his duties of being the Elite Student in the Academy. It was then that he began laughing at his own misery.

The words that can describe his time in the afternoon was pretty simple, Heavy Duty Work. And it might continue for days or weeks.

'Probably months....or for the next four years in Beacon.....Lord have mercy.'

He was stressed out because of all the work he was made to do. So he decided to blow off some steam by relaxing and reading some interesting works.

'Ozpin told me that I don't really need to study for my grades. But its just gonna be for two weeks and back to studying I go. I'd rather do that than doing staff work and shit.'

"Ah, Jin! There you are!"

Jin heard someone calling him and he looked at the source. He saw Yang walking towards him with a plate of cheesecake and her other hand hiding something else in the back.

'Hmmmm....So she's here for business huh.'

Yang smiled as she sat down besides him and putted an arm around his shoulder, "Soooooo, how was your day?"

"Not good, I've been stressed out alot lately and I wanna blow off some steam."

"Well, thats....cool I guess..." Yang said as she placed the plate on the table.

"Hey Jin, you really look handsome tonight! No, your the most-...."

"Just tell me what you want."

"I need some help with my assignments! There's too many! I didn't pay attention to today's lessons and Ruby and the others wouldn't help me!" Yang said in a pleading tone as she placed her head on his shoulders.

Jin glanced at her with a business-like look, "What's in it for me?"

Yang offered the plate to him, "You can have this cheesecake."

"Pretty sure Ruby can give me a better one." Jin said as he turned to look at his scroll again, completely deeming Yang's tribute unworthy.

Yang flinched before finally deciding to use her trump card. She finally showed the thing she was holding behind her....

It was a whole bag filled with Twinkies

Jin's eyes widened at the marvelous sight and he decided.

"DEAL!"
