2. A normal day

It was a normal Sunday for the royal family. There were no visitors on a Sunday, and the royal family chose to relax on this day of the week. They would wake up late and then have brunch together at eleven. They would then return to their beds and have a long sleep or, as for the two Princes, go out with their friends to a party. It was in fact too normal today.

For Robert, it was a normal day too. The poor butler got a day rest, and would savor it by staring off into the royal garden. The perfectly trimmed, green grass would give him a sense of calm and peace after the chaotic weekdays where he would tire from taking care of guests from arrival to departure, assisting with event preparation, and taking care of duties in the front and back of the palace.

Just as he was going to catch a wisp of sleep, a 1968 Ford mustang pulled up to near the steps of the castle. Astonished on how the car got into the Castle grounds, he ran towards the car to give the trespasser a piece of his mind. A woman stepped out of the car, her hair red like flames. Her lips were also red; so red it felt as if she has painted them with blood. Her white evening dress screamed innocence, her black boots hid her beautiful white legs from the world and when she removed her black glasses you could see the hunger that lay in those forest green eyes.

"Excuse me, ma'am, you are not allowed to enter the castle without permission. How did you get in? But first of all - who are you?" the impatient butler asked the mysterious woman. "I am very disheartened Robert, that you are telling me to go away from my own home, and also that you have forgotten me. I am your Giana! Come on now, give me a hug!" The mysterious woman hugged Robert dearly.

"But you died..." Robert asked in confusion. "Come on Robert, don't be silly. Let's just say I went into hiding and I am back."

"But-" "Robert, I will explain everything to you later. We have a lot to catch up on, but for now, let me met daddy dearest." The mysterious woman then walked into the castle, power oozing from her. The question was - who really was she?

The mysterious walked into the castle confidently, her hips swaying as if dancing to a beat only she could hear. The sound of her heels clicking on the floor as she walked echoed through the castle, drawing people out to see this mysterious woman.

Those who saw her couldn't remove their eyes from her and couldn't help but open their mouths in awe. She walked to her destination without help. Two guards stood near the banquet hall. She didn't panic seeing the guards, she simply took out a small pocket knife from her boots.

The guards ran to her thinking that she would get scared and flee but she didn't. She stood firmly and as the guard was going to strike her, she ducked and slashed his shoulder, making him black out in pain. The other guard was shaken by the mysterious woman's moves and tried to shout that it was an emergency situation, but before he could the mysterious woman glided behind the guard like a graceful swan. She was dancing rather than fighting, and she placed a handkerchief drugged with chloroform on the guard's nose. The guard struggled against her grip, but she did not budge. The guard finally fell unconscious.

The maids watched the whole scene from behind in horror, unable to believe that a girl had just taken down two royal guards. The mysterious woman then kicked the door to the banquet hall open.

For the King, it was a normal day. He woke up late, had a cup of tea with his wife Katherine, and then went to the banquet hall have to brunch with his family. The King was a happy man. He had everything he could ever wish for - his son Bates who will be the next King, his son Martin who is always there to serve his parents, and also his smallest child, his precious daughter Amora, who he loved dearly.

Every day when he sees the redheaded Amora he reminisces of his doing. How his ambition drove him to become a murderer.

Every day the happy King would breakdown in his dead daughter's room as he is reminded of the loss of two of his most precious gems. Though dead, the memory of his first wife and daughter haunted him. For seven years he had not slept because his memory of them kept him awake, and would keep him awake until the day he died.

The King was having a hearty brunch with his family and talking to Bates about the coronation preparation. Bates on the other hand said that there was no hurry and that they can think about it later. Bates was kind-faced person. He had always helped his father with the royal works and attending the meetings on his behalf.

Inside of him lived something that was the complete opposite. He was a devil inside, disguised as an Angel to manipulate people. He was very eager to be the King, to seize power. Bates knew he could make Coledonia a powerful country. They could conquer and bring more lands under his rule. He was just a younger version of his father, a man driven by ambition. The banquet hall flew open and everyone became quiet.

A silhouette could be seen but nothing more. When the person behind the shadow didn't attempt to show his/her face, Bates shouted "Who are you? Show yourself!" The mysterious woman appeared from the shadow smiling sweetly, but her green eyes told a different story. Her green eyes had a hungry and revengeful wolf lurking in them, ready to tear down anything that came in their way. Her waist-length red hair brought a warning of what's to come to everyone who opposed her and caused her pain. Her clothes were white but she wanted bloodshed. With confidence, she walked in front of the royal family and said "I am Regiana Jane Adler the eldest child of King Joseph Stalin Adler and Jane Alder and I have come to take my birthright. The throne."

It was a normal day for the royal family.
