Chapter 29 Sudden Changes

On the expressway from Xiangzhou to Huaihua, early in the morning, an enthusiastic citizen reported that near the entrance of the Longquan Town expressway, an Audi car had been parked on the side of the road all night without any movement. The management bureau of that section of the road took the report seriously and immediately notified the traffic police of Longquan Town.

There was a precedent: a driver who had drunk too much had just left the expressway entrance and plunged straight into the nearby farmland. It was cold winter, and that year's weather was extremely abnormal. That very night happened to coincide with a particularly heavy snowfall, and by the time people dug the driver out of the snow the next day, he had already suffocated to death due to lack of oxygen.
