Amanda Smith found it hard to speak. She glanced at Mr. Johnson, and the affection in the old man's eyes made her heart ache. She quickly shook her head, "Grandpa, it's just dinner, there's nothing wrong."
"You…" Mr. Johnson shook his head helplessly and then lifted his eyes to look at Tasha Moore, who clung to Samuel Johnson's side, trembling with fear. The warm look in his eyes instantly turned cold as he turned to the old housekeeper behind him and ordered, "Are you not going to have someone drive her out?"
The old housekeeper had no choice but to call several servants over.
"Samuel…" Tasha Moore became anxious. She had not expected Samuel Johnson's grandfather to come over and his first move would be to kick her out! She clung tightly to Samuel's arm and pressed her body against his lean frame, asking quietly, "Samuel, do you want me to leave?"
