When Amanda Smith was mentioned, Samuel Johnson suddenly lost the strength to object.
He didn't feel that he didn't understand love; he had dated so many girlfriends and had tasted the pain of a breakup. Although that pain was fleeting, how could one say it wasn't love?
Evan Willow looked up at the sky and said to the person beside him, "I will take her away. So I also ask Mr. Johnson to please never see her again." He paused, "I don't want to see her sad and upset anymore."
Samuel Johnson opened his mouth, nearly agreeing, but for some reason, he took back the 'okay' that was about to leave his throat, snorted lightly, and walked back with some dissatisfaction.
As he left, he suddenly felt a sense of relief.
He was glad he hadn't agreed. He thought to himself that he would be foolish to agree; why should he go along with what that guy said? He had no relationship with him.
