Lycanthrope Teams

[+1 Strength]

After delving into the Guardian Halls, Lumiel went to report back to the Lycanthrope halls. The Lycanthrope halls were seen with banners and they were fluttering with the wind's touch.

As he entered, he saw bustling numbers of people inside. As such, he met other Lycanthropes that were gathered.

"What could be the event? There are too many people present!"

He saw many people at the place and it made him wonder. Also, there were many veteran Lycanthropes present in the halls. Others were talking with each other but what made Lumiel curious was, there was an elder that was present.

His robes and staff signified that he was someone on the Grandmaster level.

There were levels of a job class, first was trainee, next was a novice, following that was adept, elite, master, grandmaster, legendary, and last and highest was Guardian.

Upon his inquiry to the reception desk, he was told that they will be assigned to teams and they will be assigned to a team leader.

It was then, their attention was all called upon by the elder and several others. Who were the team leaders if Lumiel would guess, they were exuding a master level of their job class.

There was a Lycanthrope that made an announcement. He was old and ashen in his hair. Has a bearded mouth and was white but still has the energy of a young warrior.

"All lycanthropes will be given missions. And so, we will assign you to teams of three. With the presence of your leaders of course!"

Lumiel then met his teammates. Their leader was called Fenral, a man in his prime and a strong leader. Brown hair and a sharp fang peeping out of his mouth. As Lumiel will analyze him, he was coming from the job class tribe himself of Lycanthrope. That only meant that he was capable and was trained from a young age.

Their leader was an energetic fellow. His quality that Lumiel came to like.

"Okay guys, I am Fenral; your leader. Tell me your specialties and we will begin assessing our team formations," he asked then shook their hands.

"I am Houstin, a Lycan berserker specialist. I have summoning skills but they were trifling. Nice to meet you guys," he bowed.

"I am Eul, I am a Shapeshifter specialist. Please take good care of me," he gestured his hands like praying while his eyes closed.

His two teammates were Houstin, a Lycan berserker specialist that has claw weapons. Has spiky red hair and was short in stature.

The other one was Eul, a Shapeshifter, and was tall. He has long hair that goes towards his shoulders and he has lifeless eyes. He was yawning most of the time, Lumiel came to observe.

Lumiel then came to observe and only the Summoner specialist was in the position left. He then immediately took it as his position on the team.

"I am Lumiel, I am Summoner. Nice to meet you all!"

Their leader then clapped his hands then spoke.

"Well, we have good combinations! We will be a team from now on. We will take missions together and fight together. I hope we make a good team. Now, our first mission is to eradicate the goblin camp in the realm. They are still not culled totally," their leader then sighed.

"Sir Fenral, we should try out our formations first. We should try to practice our teamwork and coordination," Lumiel suggested.

"Good thinking, we should at least practice our teamwork first. By that, onwards to the training ground," he said while pointing in its direction.

They went there and Lumiel came to observe that his teammates were getting to know each other.

Houstin then went to talk to Eul, "I like to claw enemies with these weapons. Say, what weapon do you use when you shapeshift?"

"I don't use any weapons," Eul then wiped his nose with his thumb.

"What? Then your damage is weak! You should use a weapon!" Houstin suggested.

"Lumiel, what weapon do you use?" Houstin asked energetically.

"I can use a sword. Anything if you want to ask. My favorite is the staff," Lumiel then smirked and winked.

"Oh, really?"

"Yep,"

"Eul, let us pick a weapon for you!" Houstin said energetically.

"Nah, I pass. My claws are enough," Eul then snapped his fingers.

"Sir Fenral, Eul doesn't want to pick a weapon!" Houstin was agitated.

"We can select one for him," Fenral then went to the weapon wrack.

They saw weapons of different varieties and types. Eul was yawning again as he scanned the weapons.

"These weapons are not my type," Eul sighed.

Lumiel came to observe that he was not very muscular and not too thin too. Although tall, he was somewhat having the aura of having used a weapon at all. He doesn't use a weapon at all in his years of being young.

As for Lumiel, a weapon grandmaster, he knew all weapon masteries. It was a matter of preference for the user. As Lumiel thought of it, the weapon damage and weapon attack speed were used when you shapeshift into a werewolf. So having the best weapon has a vital role in the damage output of the werewolf form.

As such, Lumiel selected the best weapon for him. But before that, he asked him, "In your werewolf form, what do you prioritize the most?"

"Um the attack speed I guess. Attack damage was my second priority,"

Houstin was also agreeing with him at some point but still disagreed, "But the most damage per second is the best option! We can't attack that feels like a fly's kiss can we?"

"You Houstin will be a damage per second type. Claw weapons are both good on damage and attack speed so you will be a brutal opponent," Fenral then patted his back.

"I suggest you wield a dagger then. It has the best attack speed, or a claw," Lumiel suggested.

"Hmmm, a dagger. Okay, will choose that one. I am not a fan of claws," Eul critiqued.

"What? But claws are the best!" Houstin bellowed.

"Daggers can be put to a sheath. Claws will be protruding on your hands and might injure me," Eul said then sighed.

"Okay, that is it then. Let us try your combat skills," Fenral said to them.

They soon gathered on the training grounds and then equipped their weapons. Lumiel used a staff, Eul a dagger, and Houstin with his claws.

"Okay, before you all try your teamwork, let us see each other's strengths by having a brawl. You three against each other," Fenral instructed.

Lumiel then smiled at the two. They were all confident with each other's strengths and thus they smirked. They were excited to let their opponents taste a small fraction of their strength.

And so they went ready. One against everyone. There was no ally in this battle. With this, their battle prowess will be assessed by individuals. Their team leader will finally see them in action.

Lumiel rotated his staff and saw that his enemies were also ready. Their prowess, he will have to see it for himself.

"Okay, you can deal damage to your opponents but don't aim for the kill. I will intervene just in case something happens. Okay, ready, fight!"
