PRESCIOUS

That evening Jake mind was running wild. He knew someone had to die for him to live and that wasn't fair. The imagine from earlier disturbed him . That girl had repeated the same words "" take care of it." He wanted to ask so many questions but nobody gave him the answers. He received a call from his friend pat to come.join them at there favorite club since its 6 months he last joined them. First he confirmed if Jake was healed and after learning his fine he asked him to join them. Jake rushed to take shower and later went to meet his best friends. It took him 2hrs yo arrive and harry was like " bro what took you so long". Jake said he had to take a cab his parent sold his car without knowing. Pat was quick to agree and said the did the right thing , Evie and Harry agreed too. They ordered wine alcohol and ciggarets. Pat started asking Jake how it felt to have someone's heart in him knowing the owner is dead. Jake wasn't in position to answer since he was searching for answers too. Pat also asked if he knew the owner . This questions were like hiting a hot nail in a fresh wound. His mood worsen from before. Evie upon seeing him like that changed the topic and teased him that he has become thin in those 6 months. They opened his shirts buttons to see whether his wound had been healed before offering him drink. What they didn't know was the old Jake was gone and this was new. Jake had been thinking about his life since the day he came out surgery room. He had changed and knew life is a gift. His actions were not like before he acted like spoiled rich kid who just knew drinking alcohol smoking and spending money any how.

Jake didn't taste the alcohol his friends opened for him. He took water instead and he could see their unbelievable expressions.

They had ruined his emotions soo he went back home atrleast to search for answers .

Jake was in very bad mood and just as he opened the door his mum was waiting for him. Mrs David ran and gave a tight hug to his beloved son. Jake didn't respond back he just stood there without a move looking at his mom obviously disgusted. He said to his mother that he is a grown up man already and she should stop smothering him the best thing to do was give him details of the heart donor. His dad who was resending down stairs heard what Jake told his wife. He slapped him very hard slap on his face and said to him that he should always think it as a miracle that gave him another chance to live again. The burning on Jakes cheek disappeared the moment he had that sentence he hated the most. His mother added" just live your and not everybody is blessed like you."

Jake mumurred to himself ' is that what you call blessing !'. Since Jake played the hard way, insisted that he wanted the details of the donor. His father angrily replied "it was just an ordinary person", and took his wife upstairs to their room. Two servants came to Jake and asked if he needed anything he answered them by just nodding his head and said ,"you may take rest".

Jake went to his room took a shower and went down stairs tiptoeing without any noise. He reached his dads office hold the knob to open. He had a servant going to the kitchen he hid and when he was sure she had gone he opened the door and went inside.

On the table there were so many files but there was that one on top titled HOSPITAL REPORT . He opened and read the first page and found the name and a photo of the heart donor. He wanted to know more bug suddenly office door was opened. He placed back the file and pretended to look for his laptop. His father who had just entered asked what he was doing in his office at that time. Jake blood was running like crazy. Before he replied a servant holding a glass of warm water said " Boss here is your water". He left the room and told Jake to go sleep it was late. Jake went back to his room locked the door and opened his computer . He searched PRESCIOUS SALLY .

She was 25 yrs old before death ,raised by her Auntie , her mother passed away just after giving birth to her . She had no dad since her mother wasn't married. She was a student at LD university doing her degree in teaching. Before she died she was teaching a small school in western where education had not fully developed. She had described the village people to be loving and they lived like a family. Lastly he got address to her Aunty's place in the city.

Early in the following morning Jake called his best friend PAT to give him a ride to Precious home. When they reached Jake went alone and left Pat in the car the reason been if anything was to happen pat would escape and call for help.

Jake scanned around the compound and saw no one. He waited to see if he could see prescious aunty but 15 mins had passed and no response came from the gate bell he rang earlier.

He had no choice but to trespass. First thing he saw after entering the compound was prescious books and everything that was associated with school. He went closs to take a look and see whether he could have one document with full information about Prescious. Just as he bent to take certain small book that had got his attention he had a sound coming from the back." What in the world are you looking for?". He stepped backwards due to shock gathered his confidence and said he was prescious boyfriend and he had assisted her his book so he had came for it. Dispite of her never had seen him before she allowed him to take whatever he wanted.

Jake only took two things her diary and her job badge. He went back to the car safe and Pat released a breath he didn't knew he was holding.

On their way back Jake didn't talk to Pat he just stared at prescious photo that was attached with her badge. He also opened her diary and read it slowly. Jake was ready to achieve Prescious dreams and live her life. He wanted to be useful for ones in his life.
