HEART TRANSPLANT
In a famous club at night there are three boys Jake,Pat and Harry with them are two beautiful young girls Eve and Lyne. They are drinking alcohol , smoking cigarettes and dancing. After they got tired they just stood there thinking of there next 'fun' activity to do. Jake their leader came up with one and was cassino. Jake was the first one to play the betting he won the First game and decide to leave with his friends since that was enough for the day. Before they could reach the exit door a man stepped in their way and challenged Jake to bet more money. Since they had time Jake agreed and bet 100k which he lost to the other party. Jake bet more money in which he continued to loose. After all the loss the man said they should spice up the game by placing his Gold watch worth 800k Jake agreed and placed his 900k worth Gold watch too and it was very special to him, a birthday gift from his mom. His friends warned him and said he should give up, but Jake reminded them he had just 2 days left to live and he was going to die anyway. This sentence broke his friends and said to him he will be cured soon. All the people in Casino had their eyes on the bet they had no idea that Jake was gonna win the money. After the win Jake was not in the mood to play again he went outside and they were ready to live home but unfortunately Jake felt dizzy his body became weak and collapse .After around 30 minutes later Jake gained his conscious. His friends helped him to his car he refused them to drive him home .He said he would drive himself but due to his conditions his friends were really worried.They were drunk and adding to Jakes poor health they were afraid he would cause an ccident. Jake was stubborn and went inside his car to drive himself home he wasn't afraid of death since he knew only 48hrs left for him on earth .Jake was suffering from heart failure and there was no cure for his disease ,it was caused by drinking too much alcohol and smoking he was a second years student taking bachelor in finance and economics.He was the only child of his parents his family was wealthy they had various businesses and he was the only heir.
On the other side lets met precious a very beautiful girl who had just arrived in the city from village. She had came out of the bus and was ecited to be back home. She took out her phone and called her favorite motor rider to take her home ,before she could call she had a incoming calk from best friend asking whether she had arrived safely . She seemed very happy while talking to the person on other line. The person she was talking to seemed to be very important and close to her. She took her diary to write her moments. Left hand had phone still on the call and on her right hand was holding a diary. Prescious opened her diary and there was a picture of a handsome man wearing police uniform. As their conversation went on wind Blowed the photo and it landed in the middle of the road. The photo was so important to her she decided to go and collect it .As she bend to take it a over speeding car clashes her and diary she was holding was the only thing fell down on the roadside and was left there after that tragedy. The person she was talking to on the phone felt something was unusual he tried calling back, only to hear " the number you have called cannot be reached please try again later". He couldn't keep calm and decided to go to her home to check on her. He had feeling that something bad had happened yo her . But he didn't want to believe he just hoped that everything was fine.
After several hours since Jake said he would drive himself home, we find Jake's mom in the hospital crying and her husband trying to comfort her. Jake had just arrived in the hospital and taken to emergency room. His mom loved him so much that he was willing to do anything for Jake to survive . She was begging doctors to save their son who had been taken now to ICU .Jake's condition had worsen and he had 30% chance to live that is if he had a heart transplant .After 30 minutes of trying to stabilize his condition Dr Alvis came out and told his parents that they were yet to find a compatible donor and Jake was still in critical condition due to The Chronic inflammation of his hearts for many years and his prone to heart failure the best way out was quick operation of heart transplant on him. He said he even had requested organ donation center but still they had not heard back from them.
Jack's mom who could not Take it anymore begged doctor Alvis to take her heart, If they will not find compatible donor and give it to her son. Dr Elvis tried to hold and told her to get herself together and think straight .she was crying and begging her husband to agree to it ,they kept on telling her to come down first but she wasn't ready to listen to them. All she wanted was for her son to survive .She was ready to die for her son .David (Husband )had lost all the words to comfort his beloved wife Dr Alvis had no other option and finally agreed to it unwillingly . At that time before the procedure started a nurse came running in Dr Alvis office and said that organ donation center had contacted back.
Dr Alvis left the couple and went in communication office in the hospital to hear what (ODC) Organ Donation Center had to say ,he prayed for Good News and only hoped to get nothing but good news.He said to Mr and Mrs David to be patient and remain calm before he left. When he came back he told them the good news that finally operation was going to happen and Jake had gotten a compatible heart donor.
In the operation room Jake was lying on hospital bed unconscious while doctors where operating on him. Dr Elvis was the one leading the operation which finally after 5 hours it was a success. Jake's parents had no words that could express their gratitude to Dr Alvis for saving their son. Jake was taken to a private VIP room and after 2 hours he woke up.
JAKES POV
I had a dream about a certain girl very beautiful with long curled hair .I had never seen her before she was holding a torch in the middle of thick dark Forest, it was soo dark that I couldn't see the surrounding . she pushed me on my chest I tripled and almost fell backwards she said to me' look back' and I saw tall handsome man wearing police uniform. Next thing she said shocked me take care of it as she was holding my chest and tearing painfully . I was so confused and did understand anything .The man behind me was also crying and i didnt know him either and why he was in much pain. I placed my hand on my heart to touch where she had touched me . At that time I opened my eyes only to find myself lying in hospital bed and there was a female nurse attending to me . She smiled to me and said "finally you are awake" that's when I looked at my surrounding and noticed I was in the hospital. I didn't know how I ended up in the hospital. The nurse upon seen my confused look she told me that I had a heart transplant. I was brought here 8 hours ago .
She said I had to stay in bed and have enough rest then she walked out of the room to inform Dr Elvis and my parents .I raised my hand to my chest and touched my scar to confirm. After the nurse left the room I crossed my eyes and started imagining that I had someones heart inside me my parent came into room I had them say that they needed doctor Elvis to give them advice and thank him for he helped me jump the queue and make sure that it wasn't and adverse impact on them after listening to the conversation I opened my eyes my mom happiness could be seen she went to bedside table and Took a glass of water and give it to me I drank a little nurse came to check my condition again .My parents excused and walked out of the room. The first question I asked the nurse was who the donor of the heart ,she said that hospital rules they're not allowed to disclose any information.
Few days have passed and my condition is becoming better .The nurse tried to cheer me up by asking whether I want to go outside, I simply nodded she took a wheel chair sat on and she pushed me as we went outside.
Back at auntie precious home people came together and gave her strength they mourned with her and helped with burial. It was sad that she died before she could reach home and see her auntie whom they had not seen each other for 1yr. Her best friend Rian also attended the good bye ceremony. Rian was holding similar photo like the one presciou had before tragedy, but these had 2 people him and precious. He stared at it recalling all the beautiful moments they shared. He had cried until his beautiful eyes were red.
That day when precious phone suddenly went off Rian booked his ticket to city with his two friends. Only to arrive and the unbelievable news was all over the news. He blamed himself for not accompanying her until she got safe. Since he was a soldier he did his investigation about his best friend death but didn't get logical evidence. The car that hit prescious claimed it was an accident.
6months later
Jake has been doing fine and his almost healed. He was till under therapy that was done to his home. They were doing therapy as they always do and having a little conversation . Nurse told him that he was lucky he received a matching heart in time that's pure miracle. All the smile Jake had on his charming face dissapered . His mom was so good at understanding his son's moods and could tell something is off . She ran to him hold his hand and hugged him . She was sorry for everything even without knowing what wrong she did. Jake said he wasn't in the mood for therapy and will continue the following day for now he needed rest. He excused himself a and left upstairs to his room. He went and stood in the mirror but the reflection was not him but the same girl he saw when he had heart surgery. Her imagine always appear in his dreams he had a guess she must be the owner of the heart .
