Peaceful
"I don't understand it... The Uzumaki have always been a peaceful and reclusive clan. Why would they want to get rid of them?"
"Because it's in their interests, Tsunade. As long as our village maintains it's relationship with the Uzumaki, we undeniably have an advantage in war." Frowning, Orochimaru spoke in an evident tone. "You know damn well that they sell us seals for a meager price, given your family's history with them."
"That's true, but..." Clenching her fists, Tsunade gnashed her teeth in anger. Because of benefits and advantages, the other villages were willing to destroy a peaceful clan. It made her skin crawl.
"Do you have any information on the manpower of the villages? How many people are they sending out?" Placing a hand on his chin, Jiraiya went straight to the point.
Hearing him, Jun thought for a moment before answering.
"If I had to make a guess, I'd say it's probable that the four Kage will make an appearance. After all, without them, they have no chance of eliminating the Uzumaki clan."
"The Kage..." Jiraiya found it hard to refute Jun's hypothesis. After all, the leader of the Uzumaki would mow down anyone else that came across his path. Although he was the weakest of the Kage, his strengths lay elsewhere.
"How long do we have?"
"At most, a month. Realistically, the other villages should reach the land of whirlpools within two weeks." Jun wasn't sure how his interventions would change the course of history, so he could only guess according to his knowledge. "By that time, they'll launch a sneak attack and get rid of the Uzumaki before our village retaliates."
Jun sighed. Last time, after swirly killed the Uzumaki clan head, the other villages swooped in and finished the job. Although they found it weird that the man had already died, it only helped their cause, so they didn't ask too many questions.
"We have to inform the old man." Sitting cross-legged, Jiraiya quickly wrote down their findings in a scroll and summoned a small toad to carry it. "Once you're back, head directly to the leaf, ok?"
Seeing it nod, Jiraiya canceled the summon and watched it disappear along with the scroll. Seeing this, Orochimaru crossed his arms and spoke.
"For now, we shouldn't take action. We'll wait for the senile old man's instructions to see in what direction we'll proceed."
It would be for the better if they kept what happened a secret for as long as possible.

Two days later. Land of Whirlpools.
"Look! It's land!" Rejoicing, Nozomi ran to the front of the deck, holding her hair as it fluttered in the wind. Hearing her, Minato got excited and ran next to her.
Not too far away, their destination was finally in sight. Behind them, Jiraiya smiled wryly. Typically, he would've enjoyed such a trip, but given the current situation... It would be different.
The ship got closer as the waters became more shallow, turning from a deep blue to a refreshing turquoise.
"Hey, do you know why it's called the land of whirlpools?" Smiling, Nozomi turned to face Jun. "Because of this island's climate and geography, the waters around it are a nightmare for sailors!"
"Nightmare!? Didn't you see that it was a piece of cake for me!?" Steering the mast, the captain roared. "Prepare for arrival!"
"YOSH!" All of the sailors saluted and got to work. With the sound of brisk waves and seagulls, they finally reached the docks. In front of them was a large fishing village, bustling with life.
