Lumine Pov.

When I woke up, My brother was gone. I'm all alone. My strength is gone. I hug my body in the middle of the forest, my eyes filled with tears as I call out the name of my brother

"Aether!"

I was afraid. This is the first time me and my twin brother separated. I was his little sister, I depended on him.

But now he is gone.

That unknown god. She is the one who separated me and my brother. Hate is surging within my body. She is the reason why it happens.

My brother and I were enjoying the travels. Because of the Unknown god, all the fun and enjoyable moments disappeared.

I need to find my brother. He is strong, I know he is still alive.

I can't be dependent on him too much. I have to stand up for myself. Filled with my conviction and hatred for the Unknown God, I set out on a journey to find clues.

In my journey, I found something or someone as fish out in the sea. It was a little girl that was floating.

She called herself Paimon. She wanted to accompany me throughout my journey to find my brother as thanks for saving her.

Paimon taught me many things.

Three months has passed. Paimon and I found a clue, just a little hint. We set our journey to Mondstadt.

However, before we could arrive at the first city of Mondstadt. Someone fell on top of me.

It was a boy. A boy with dark hair and dark eyes with no redeeming features. His eyes and my eyes met. Something snapped, but I didn't get it.

His hands were on my chest. I should have punched him in the face but I was unbothered.

He quickly got off unto me, he introduced himself. The things he said are unbelievable but my heart tells me he wasn't lying.

After we chatted for some time. The three of us became companions. He wanted to come with me. Weird, but there is Paimon so it's not shocking.

However, after teaching him some skills. I became proud that he was struggling with it.

When he surpassed me in terms of level. I got agitated. How does he become strong so quickly with a few gems? How incomprehensible.

I don't believe it but I can't deny what's in front of me.

I cannot be left behind. I have to get strong! My fighting spirit burns.

I excused myself to him. We already completed today's commission but I wasn't satisfied. I got out of the city and hunted every enemy that gave exp. Of course, I'm not a maniac who kills on sight.

Ronan's pov

The scout teams slowly crawled over. The trees were thick. Signaling with hands. The scout teams are not very good at frontal battles.

What they can do is not to get caught, they aren't an assassin team either.

But doesn't mean they are useless. Information is very important.

In front of the incoming enemies. Above the tall trees. The scout teams were preparing multiple traps.

"Ready?" Eula whispered in a very low tone.

I nodded while feeling the excitement rush into my head. I'm quite a battle maniac, I've never thought.

"They are here." Eula signaled with her hand to her subordinates. Counting with her fingers.

"Go!" Eula brandished her Snow-Tombed Star Silver. Jumping above the tree. The enemy is already below us.

Her claymore is surrounded by elemental cryo particles. She lifted her claymore above her head and smashed it down on the ground with momentum and she fell with style.

When she landed on the ground. The surrounding area her turned into a glacial field. On the ground, you can see a large snowflake forming.

Multiple Hilichurls and Samachurls perished.

The Hilichurls gasped from the ambush. They panicked.

"Roar!" The Mitachurls roared. As they sprinted to Eula.

Three of the Mitachurls were affected by the Cryo element, and some Hillichurls who survived that attack were also affected.

Of course, I did not let that slide. I covered my Old Merc's pal with Hydro elemental particles, on the claymore the water stretched out like a huge water sword.

As I practiced my mastery of Elements. I became excited at the thought of being able to use super skills. However, I can only practically use them like using them to attack.

I still didn't know what to name this skill.

The water blade stretches enough in according to my level. I swung the claymore vertically. Those who were affected by the Cryo elemental froze up, and those who were not either perished or were sent flying.

The Ruin guard was slow as it was only able to move when Eula and I finished our series of attacks.

The Ruin Guard jumped toward us.

"Dodge!" Eula shouted but her eyes contained coldness as she followed the Ruin Guard's movement.

The Ruin Guard aggro is me. It set eyes on me. Seeing that it was jumping toward me, I dodged on the side.

The scout teams already moved. With Pyro bombs on hand, they throw it on the enemies.

"Boom! Boom!"

Multiple explosions can be heard. The ground shook a little. The Bow users shot their arrows. The melee fighters dropped down on a tree to confront the enemies.

Seeing the plan worked out. Eula's face remained composed. Me and Her will be dealing with the big machine.

I jumped high and struck it with Water Haven. A Hydro lance skill. My claymore trembled when it came into contact with its armor body.

"How come to a rusty robot is still this tough?" I cursed.

"Ruin Guards are made of special metal. They've survived for many centuries. It's as to be expected they have a hard armor until now." Eula explained as she dashed toward the Ruin Guard. As it's movement is slow, it couldn't touch us.

But its attacks are deadly.

It keeps saying robotics sounds. It crouched down, then leaned up. A light glowed on its shoulder.

Shit, it's the missile. It will not be easy to dodge as in the game. I ran toward Eula and cast a Hydro-Elemental barrier around us. Her cryo will be useless against those things.

The missile launched toward us. Thankfully, it wasn't able to break my barrier.

With a cranky noise, it stood up again. But this time its arms extended and its waist started to move. Sounds weird, anyways. It rotated like a blade.

That's a field thriller for you.

"Run!" I shouted. We can't do anything with that move but run.

We led the Ruin Guard far away from our allies. It would be devastating if we make a mistake by leading it to them. Just imagining it would be horrifying.

I realized that when a human dies. They wouldn't disintegrate. They die how they are supposed to be.

I saw some lying on the ground, not breathing.

To prevent more casualties. We have to consider our actions. Not thoughtlessly acting.

The Ruin Guard follows the both of us. It was good that this thing didn't have thoughts on its own or else such a powerful machine would be terrifying.

After pursuing for some time. The Ruin Guard stopped. It stopped spinning. It walked toward us.

Seeing that it stopped, Eula and I also stopped in our tracks. As if in sync, the two of us rushed toward the Ruin Guard.

Not knowing, someone is watching as from afar.
