With the roads of Mondstadt bustling with newly introduced cars and motorbikes, the city was starting to feel like it was stepping into a new era. But Satoshi knew there was something else that was vital to bring Mondstadt into the modern age—communication. The System had given him yet another mission: to lay the groundwork for a satellite-based communication network. Introducing an early version of the internet, along with mobile phones and computers, was no small feat.
Satoshi stood in the innovation hub, looking over a blueprint of the communications tower he planned to build. He could hear the hum of activity around him as his team worked on different projects. Amber was helping some of the children who had come in for a visit, showing them how to use the electricity-powered devices they'd created. Albedo and Lisa were bent over a table, discussing an experiment, while Venti was sitting on a stack of crates, strumming his lyre and humming to himself.
"Alright, everyone," Satoshi called, gaining their attention. "I need your help with a new project. We're going to start working on a communication network for Mondstadt—something that will connect the entire city and eventually the rest of Teyvat."
Amber's eyes widened with excitement. "A communication network? Like, something that lets people talk to each other from far away?"
Satoshi nodded. "Exactly. We'll be starting by building a series of communication towers around Mondstadt, and eventually, we'll be launching a satellite. This will allow us to introduce mobile phones and the internet, so people can stay connected, no matter where they are."
Venti looked up from his lyre, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Oh, that sounds like quite the marvel! Imagine—I could send my poetry to all of Mondstadt without having to move an inch. Though, where's the fun in that?"
Lisa smiled, a thoughtful look on her face. "It's certainly ambitious, Satoshi. How are you planning to handle the energy requirements for such a network? We'll need something powerful to keep it all running smoothly."
Satoshi glanced at Albedo, who nodded in understanding. "We'll need to set up a dedicated power source for the towers. I've been thinking of using a combination of geo-elemental energy and solar panels. Mondstadt is blessed with abundant sunlight and ley lines. If we harness both, we should be able to generate enough power to support the network."
Amber bounced on her toes, her enthusiasm growing by the minute. "This is going to be so cool! We're going to be able to call each other, even if we're miles away! I can already think of so many people who will love this—like Klee! She'll be able to call us whenever she finds something exciting!"
Satoshi laughed, the mental image of Klee excitedly making calls warming his heart. "Exactly. This is all about bringing people closer together—making sure everyone can stay in touch, even if they're far apart."

The work began with the construction of the first communications tower. The site chosen for the tower was on a hill overlooking Mondstadt, where it could easily reach the entire city. Diluc provided the necessary funding, and with the combined efforts of Albedo, Lisa, and even some of the local blacksmiths, construction was underway.
One day, as they worked on assembling the frame of the tower, Sucrose appeared, her usual shy smile in place. She held a stack of blueprints, her cheeks slightly flushed. "Um, Satoshi, I've been working on something that might help. It's… an alchemical amplifier. If we add it to the tower, it could boost the signal range significantly."
Satoshi looked over the blueprints, his eyes widening as he took in the detailed diagrams. "Sucrose, this is amazing. If we can get this to work, it'll make the network even better than I imagined. Thank you."
Sucrose blushed, pushing her glasses up her nose. "I-I just want to help. This project is really exciting, and I'd love to be a part of it."
Amber, who was helping to assemble one of the metal beams, called over, "You're always welcome, Sucrose! The more, the merrier!"
Sucrose smiled, her nervousness easing. She joined them, and together, they worked on integrating her alchemical amplifier into the design of the tower. Albedo guided her through the process, his calm and reassuring demeanor making her feel at ease as they combined traditional engineering with alchemical magic.

As the tower neared completion, Satoshi gathered his friends and some of the townspeople at the base of the hill. It was time to power it up for the first time and see if all their hard work had paid off.
The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over Mondstadt, as Satoshi stood by the control panel, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Amber stood beside him, her eyes wide with anticipation, while Albedo, Sucrose, Lisa, Diluc, and Kaeya watched from a short distance away.
Satoshi took a deep breath and flipped the switch. For a moment, nothing happened—and then, the tower came to life. Lights flickered on along its length, and a faint hum filled the air as the energy from the geo-elemental core and solar panels flowed through the system.
Amber let out a cheer, throwing her arms around Satoshi in excitement. "It worked! We did it!"
The townspeople erupted in applause, and Satoshi felt a wave of relief and pride wash over him. This was a huge step forward for Mondstadt—the first piece of a communications network that would change everything.
Kaeya approached, his usual playful grin in place. "Well, well, Satoshi. You've done it again. Soon enough, we'll be able to gossip over the phone instead of at the tavern."
Diluc rolled his eyes, though a small smile tugged at his lips. "You mean you'll be able to spread your nonsense even faster, Kaeya."
Kaeya laughed. "Exactly."
Lisa approached Sucrose and Albedo, her expression one of admiration. "The two of you did a fantastic job with that amplifier. The signal strength is excellent."
Sucrose blushed, mumbling her thanks, while Albedo gave a satisfied nod. "It was a collaborative effort. Everyone played their part."
Satoshi looked out over Mondstadt, the lights of the city twinkling in the growing darkness. He could see the roads they'd built, the vehicles moving along them, and now, the communication tower standing tall on the hill. It was a testament to what they could achieve together—a symbol of the progress they were making, one step at a time.
"This is just the beginning," Satoshi said quietly, his voice filled with determination. "We're going to connect all of Mondstadt, and then the rest of Teyvat. We're building a future where everyone can be part of something bigger."
Amber nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "And we're going to do it together—one tower, one connection at a time."
The others joined in, their voices echoing in agreement. Satoshi felt a warmth in his chest as he looked around at his friends, his heart swelling with pride and hope for the future.
"Alright, Mondstadt," he said, raising his voice so everyone could hear. "Let's keep moving forward—one tower, one dream at a time."
