Noelle is me.

Knights of Favonius Rest House, Mondstadt.

Inside a room, a silver-haired girl sitting on a bed was clenching her head as sounds of groan escaped her mouth.

She stood up with difficulty. "Aghh.! ha!"

Taking a look at the mysterious and seemingly unfamiliar room, she took a step.

—Tap..tap..

"Haa.. haa," she panted, trying to walk her way towards the rectangular mirror on the wall beside her bed as her blurry vision kept on disappearing and appearing alternately.

She looked at the mirror as her vision gradually took focus.

Silver hair and green eyes. That was the appearance of the girl in the mirror.

She furrowed her eyebrows. "Who.. is that?" she said as she touched her cheek, seemingly confused.

She— no, he.. was just a guy who was a dropped out high school student. Due to various reasons, he had to stop attending school to focus on working.

After an unfortunate accident, he passed away. The next thing he knew, he was now in this situation.

Suddenly, an uncountable amount of memories flooded inside the silver-haired girl's brain.

Teyvat...

...Mondstadt...

..Work…

..Knight...

..Work...

..Work again..?

"Aagghh.!!" she leaned her head down as she grabbed her head, unable to resist the excruciating pain she had been experiencing.

She then placed her left hand on the wall to keep herself from standing still. "Haa… ha..," she panted, her body felt extremely weak.

Her head throbbed in extreme pain. Painful enough that it could almost make her lose consciousness, yet just enough pain to make her remain conscious still.

After several minutes, the pain in her head finally calmed down.

She then once again looked at the mirror. Silver hair that only extended to her chin, pairing it with a set of green eyes.

The girl in front of her, the one in the mirror, was named Noelle.

Noelle, a maid of favonius, and an apprentice knight. She lived on a continent called Teyvat. Mondstadt, to be specific.

The previous life was her— or rather, him. But at the same time, he— or rather, she, was now also Noelle.

Nevertheless, that was only appearance wise. Although 'he' has now 'her' memories, 'his' personality became the dominant one. 'He' couldn't be completely considered as Noelle herself.

But of course, 'he' couldn't be too sure of it. He doesn't know if their souls just combined and that they would become completely whole as one, or that 'she' would become the dominant one in the future soon.

"This is crazy..," she said.

Taking a seat on her bed, she sighed. "Haa... What's happening to me? I.. have still got things to do," she contemplated as her hands started to shake, but only for it to stop abruptly.

Her expression went blank as she stopped moving. "Wait, actually.. I don't."

Her eyes went bright. "Haha, I don't have to work anymore!" she said happily.

Her previous life was pretty messed up. Not only was 'he' forced to work when 'he' was still just a 16 year old by 'his' parents— who, by the time 'he' was barely getting the ropes of the work together, died of sickness.

Nevertheless, it couldn't be helped. 'He' was a single child with no other relatives so 'he' was the only one who could help to provide.

Back to the present. Although she still has to work, it wouldn't be as hard as her previous life. This time, she now has a stable job, a maid of favonius! A job with a good salary and a nice boss too!

Thanks Barbatos!

She then stood up energetically. "Alright, time to ask the boss for an unpaid leave."

You gotta abuse them as much as you can after all.

But just as she was about to leave the room, she felt an uncomfortableness in her heart.

She looked behind her, "Well.. maybe after cleaning for a bit," she said, looking at her messy bed and messy room which was the result of her struggling from the pain earlier.

Looking at the sparkling room, Noelle's eyebrows twitched. "I just thought of cleaning things up for a bit, now the room has become like this," she said as a feeling of discomfort crept up on her.

According to John Locke, he considered that the personal identity of a person was to be found in consciousness. He believed that the memory of the person was what shaped up the person's idea of self.

"I won't become a workaholic right? haha.. right?" she assured herself, feeling a sweat slide on her face.

"Oh, right. Gotta change," dismissing her negative thoughts, she prepared her maid outfit.

Just earlier, she was about to leave just wearing thin pajamas that Noelle would normally wear every time she slept.

Thankfully, she thought of cleaning for a bit, distracting herself from leaving.

Now that she could think straight, a feeling of shame that came from nowhere came to her.

She took off her pajamas as she looked at the mirror. "This is embarrassing but.. d-damn do I look good," she muttered.

She has a petite body, nice skin, a pretty good curveness in shape, and a not-so-small and not-so-large chest.

She then had a sudden thought, "I'm definitely not muscular, but how could I easily lift the side of my bed? Eh, nevermind," she said as she dismissed her thoughts immediately.

After a while, she finished wearing her maid outfit that looked like armor. It has armor on the chest, on the shoulder, on the arm, on the legs, an armor headdress, and armor on her arms and hands.

She also adorned three red roses. Two on the side of her head, and one near on her left elbow.

With all things done, she opened her door and went outside her room.
