The old man's voice echoed in Grey's head as his eyes slowly creaked open. His vision was blurred but there was another voice around him. 

'Why was it called the war of exodus, the war of the end? Wasn't it at the beginning of your reality? You have to ask yourself what actually ended?'

Grey's sight clears and he finds himself sitting against a rock at the center of Mazikeen's tomb. The ceiling had a hole in it, allowing a ray of light to fall onto him. 

Outside the illuminating light was a shadowy figure, the source of the voice, looking at him under the cover of darkness as it continued to speak.

'According to your so-called records of history, this world is where the power of creation was first exercised. How naive you humans are.'
