Mazikeen dragged Marcos' corpse back into the tomb that Lucifer previously inhabited. Azazel and Cid dragged Grey's, pulling him by the sleeves.
"What the hell is going on?" Mazikeen asked as she settled down the body near the center of the room. "Lucifer should've known the outcome, he should have known that the halfbreed would never join us? Didn't the book show him?"
"Well, it seems we'll never know," Azazel said holding the book he reached for as soon as they left Grey's body near Marcos's. "He cursed the damn book shut, can't open it. What's he trying to hide?"
The short silence that followed was disturbed by a familiar voice responding to the question. "His weakness," came Merlin's voice.
They looked around in alarm to see where it was coming from, and a shadowy body rose horizontally from the wall. No face, no eyes, no perceivable human features but a mouth, it only showed half of its body through the wall with its smiling face.
