He told her everything about their past, their reunion, their time together, and how they separated. None of which Emberle believed.
They were the same stories that Ernid had told her yet they still sounded unreal. To her, Grey was a stranger, but imagining them made her heart flatter. She sat on the edge of the hole she was thrown through in her room, watching the stars and calming her nerves over the warm breeze. Then all of a sudden, Grey's voice disappeared, like he was cut off and everything went silent.
