Welcoming party?

Good, very good. The Soldiers informed me that they are sending a representative. Maybe I'll be given diplomatic immunity?

Earlier there was a commotion when my best friend arrived but I've handled it with proper care.

Well...

That is if you ignore one of the standard soldiers currently receiving a medical check-up as I tapped in on the head.

What? He tried to shoot my best friend and I don't know if he is also bulletproof yet.

I walked up to the soldiers and they started acting defensive.

"Why did you try to shoot my best friend? I said he would be arriving any moment but you shoot him anyway. So why?"

Once I said this one of the soldiers responded but it was rather slow. I guess he wanted to choose his words carefully?

"Well... We thought your friend would have a more humanoid look... We have been fighting the Locust with our blood and sweat so it's a habit when we see one... What exactly is it? It looks like a buffer ticker..."

Oh, that's was what all the fuss was about? Here I thought that they wanted to murder my best friend but it was just a misunderstanding! No harm is done to anyone, right?

"Oh, I just made Sushi Roll better is all. It's all apart of the project: BFFFE and the rest are classified."

The soldiers didn't know why but they felt that the project was not going to end well for anyone...

"Its name is Sushi Roll?"

I nodded my head. He surely must be shocked by the awesome name! I'm such a good name and second to none!

So for the next several hours, I made small talk with the soldiers about random stuff but I don't know why they are acting so weary. It's not like they are in a life or death moment... Oh, wait they kinda are with me around.

But we did talk like we are the best of buds! We talked about food and my God I almost punched this man... How can this world not have video games?! The closest thing that they have is a pinball machine!

I'll come back to this topic because right now I can see multiple blacked-out helicopters coming towards us. Is it wrong that I want one?

Anyways, I waited for them to land and I saw a man who I swear I've seen before. His name was on the tip of my tongue but I just could not remember.

The blacked-out soldiers walked over towards the man and started talking.

I didn't really listen to their conversation as that would be quite rude of me, wouldn't it? Eventually, the man walked towards me with a frown but it soon changed to a smile.

He soon was in front of me while offering me a handshake.

"Hello Kyle my name is Richard Prescott and I am the chairman of the COG. I've been informed that you're a man with extraordinary gifts, is that true?"

I still can't remember who this man was but he sure is polite! I reached for his hand and noticed the surrounding soldiers examining the surrounding.

"Nice to meet you, Richard. Well, it depends on what type of gifts you are referring to. The only ones I showed were that I'm really fast, strong, and can shoot lasers."

Did I hint that I have other abilities? Why yes I did! Do I care? Nope!

"So do you mean that you have even more gifts?"

I nodded my head and noticed the chairman smiling.

"Is that so? Then can I ask what's your goal? Where did you come from? How did you get your gifts?"

Wow, three back-to-back questions!

"My goal is to find relaxation, I came from far away, I took them."

I noticed Richard wanting to frown but he just continued to smile. I guess he was not happy about my vague answers.

"What are you then? No human can showcase anything you've done."

Oh? He already figured out I'm not a human? What gave it away? It wasn't me shooting lasers right?

"I'm everything and anything."

As I said this I started changing my body structure as I returned to my alien look then changed to another human form then back to my hunter form.

{Richard Prescott POV}

I'll be damned, I'm standing in from of a... Alien? So he can also shape-shift? There are so many possibilities but will he become an asset or a liability?

If I can control him then I can end this war once and for all...

"You know a lot of my scientists would love for the chance to dissect you and figure you out but I promise to not let that happen. How about coming with me and ill help you with your goal of relaxing? All I ask is that you help me with a few things."

I was inviting a wolf into a herd of sheep. I'll be risking everything but does it matter if the wolf was to find them first?

I'll tame him so instead of slaughtering us he will protect us... The Alien soon replied.

"Hmm, I have a few requests."

I wanted to frown again but I must put on a smile.

"What would those be? I'm sure we of the COG should be able to grant you a few things as long as it is within our ability to do so."

{Kyle POV}

Time to show this world the effects of video games hahaha hahaha. No, it's not a waste of time so shut up voice.

"I want a computer and I want to bring my best friend. So I basically want a big house and the ability to explore."

I waited for a few seconds as Richard was apparently thinking about something.

"So there is another person like you? If you would like we can go find him or her as long as you give us a location."

Another person like me? Well, Sushi Roll will become immortal one day but I'm guessing he means someone else.

"It's fine he is just chilling out under the sand right now. Also please don't shoot him as those soldiers tried shooting him early but I knocked my sense into them."

Before Richard could question what I meant, Sushi Roll came to the surface next to me.

"Sushi Roll meet Richard Prescott, he will give us a home!"
