The nest of nightmares (final)

Dennis was waiting for the guard to make his move. He hasn't broken eye contact on while waiting. Dj then came in and placed his left hand on Dennis's right shoulder.

"Hey, Dennis you should calm yourself."

Dj said to Dennis, but he ignored everything. Dennis then positioned himself as if he was a cat on hunting position.

"Alright then… Go!!"

Dennis then moved onto the attack. The guard was weary of his enemy's movements and readied his blade for the moment to strike. As Dennis approached, the guard took a swing at him, but he moved back and redirection'd his movements.

"What is going on here?"

Mora asked.

"Dennis has lost control over all communication and responses. And I thought by giving him an order he would react, but here we are."

Dj said to Mora. He then sit back and waited for the perfect opportunity with a fireball on his left hand. Now, as the battle continues. Dennis was moving in circles around the enemy. Trying to find a perfect timing to attack. The guard was standing still. Waiting on Dennis's next move.

"Firestorm!!"

Dennis then sent a fireball up into the sky, and it then dispersed. Causing flames to drop from the sky. It made everyone go into a state of panic.

"I think this is the reason Dennis didn't want to use it…"

Dj said. He realized that such a devastating move could destroy the entire area, including themselves.

"Dennis, take the fight into the sky!!"

Mora yelled out to Dennis. Dennis heard her and he ran towards the enemy to grab them by the neck, but it was a complete trap. The guard looked at Dennis and dropped his sword and said something to Dennis that put him in complete shock.

"Field of the dead…"

The guard said to Dennis. Out of nowhere, ten hands raised up from the ground and grabbed Dennis. Making him unable to move.

"Foolish boy, you think I would be an easy enemy? Then you better think again!!"

The guard said. He then grabbed his sword from the ground and placed it by Dennis's neck.

"I Skull knight, will end you here. Any last words?"

Skull asked while introducing himself.

"You should have killed me right when you captured…"

Dennis then closed his eyes and turned his entire body into flames. He wanted to free himself from the bind. And he did. His flames burned down the hands. Leaving nothing but ashes while setting himself free.

"Now that I'm free… It's time to end this!!"

Dennis said. He grabbed Skull by the neck and threw him into the sky. With that done, Dennis collapsed and dropped to his knees. The flames on his body suddenly grew and increased, causing burn injuries. His newly formed tail grew and surrounded his body as if it wanted to defend its host.

"Dennis!!"

Mora yelled. She tried to approach Dennis in order to help him, but the tail stopped her from getting close. Dj saw all this happen, and he what exactly to do. He then got up and prepared himself to pitch the fire ball with his left hand.

"Fire vortex!!"

Dj said. He then did a curve ball throw that was aimed at Skull. As he sent it, it was absorbing all the flames around its area, including Dennis's fire overdrive. The flames that were on Dennis vanished, setting his body in relief from the flames. This gave the opportunity for Mora to check on Dennis while Dj's attack was still going.

Meanwhile, Skull was still going into the sky. He was heading directly into Dennis's fire storm while Dj's fire vortex was moments away from colliding.

"I'm not going down… Not without your lives!!"

Skull said. He then threw his sword aimed directly at Dennis while being hit by the fire vortex and into the firestorm. Causing a flame disruption and taking down skull completely. While the sword was still dropping, Dennis looked up in the sky and noticed a sharp object headings towards him.

"I will say it once more…"

Dennis said in a low voice. Mora heard him, and she took a step back after sensing something wrong.

"You should have killed me… When you had the chance!!!"

Dennis then looked at the sword with his left eye, and it glowed. As the sword was getting closer. It then turned into dust and got blown away by the wind. After the fight was over, his body dropped to the ground and he wasn't able to move. Mora then picked up Dennis and was carrying him in her arms.

"Dennis, are you okay?"

Mora asked.

"No… I may need to rest for about a day or two…"

Dennis said to Mora. They all then headed out and go back to the house. As they were on their way back, an hour passed by. Luciel then returned with his men to the baseball stadium and found that it was empty. No one was there and the only thing remained was the blackbird.

"You got to be kidding me…"

Luciel said. One of soldiers the approached and saluted him.

"Sir, what should we do with the creature?"

The soldier asked.

"Report this back to HQ, and lets get out of here."

Luciel said. The soldier then saluted and railed his orders to the rest.

Moments later, a caravan headed out of the stadium and spotted Dj and Mora walking on a sidewalk that had the view of a valley behind it. Mora was still carrying Dennis. They then stopped walking and noticed that they weren't alone. The caravan then stopped and the first one to come out was Luciel.

"What are you guys doing here?"

Luciel asked.

"Were about to head back to our place."

Dj said to Luciel.

"Then would you like for us to give ya ride? It is getting late."

"No, were good, were just about to head out."

Mora said. She then stood next to Dj and Dennis snapped his right middle finger and teleported them back to the house.

"Until we meet again…"

Luciel then got on his ride and left back to his camp. He hoped he could do more to help, but he suspected that something was going on.

Meanwhile, back at the house. The night was still going and Dennis teleported himself with Mora and Dj inside the room before going in to the simulation.

"Wow, this place looks kind of nice."

Mora said. The room impressed her being colored in white and it had at least two beds. She placed Dennis on the furthest bed and sat down on the chair, and started using the computer. Dj then went out to the remaining empty bed and went to sleep.

"Alright, I'll see you two tomorrow."

Mora said to Dj and Dennis. She then pressed enter on the keyboard and went into the simulation.
