Dj vs Mecha: A fight of will

{Dj's Pov}

I stayed behind as Dennis got on the ship and took everyone to the tower. This was my fight and mine alone. If I leave Mecha alone for even a moment. He could tear up the place by himself. I can feel him getting closer, as if he was targeting the castle. Then I noticed something in the sky.

"What in the world....?"

I asked myself. As I saw something blue dropping from sky. The only thing that could come in mind was that someone used an ice spell. But as my eyes glowed bright red. I knew it meant trouble. My weapon manifested itself without having to call it. It wanted me to fight. To prove myself from my previous fight that I can fight.

"Lets give it our all... Gaia!!!"

I screamed out my weapon's name. Giving it a boost of power as I waited for my opponent. Then a few guards took notice of the situation and sounded the alarms, warning everyone in the castle that we are being under attack. I then punched the ground, releasing a small amount of Gaia's power to grow a tree that can protect us from anything. But before the tree could even grow. The guards screamed.

"Dragon!!!"

That what they said. I realized it was Mecha in his dragon form. Then I punched the ground again to make the tree grow that was big enough to cover the entire castle. "This should buy us some time, everyone evacuate mediately!!" I said to the guards. They all evacuated as I was trying to come up with a plan.

"Ok... This shouldn't be a problem. I just need to take Mecha down and bring him to X. But how am I going to get him out of his dragon form?"

I asked myself. It then came to me. The only I can take Mecha down, it's if I take him on a head. Terrible idea, but I don't have no other choice. I ran towards the tree stump and got on to it.

My body was defying gravity at this point. I was running my way up on the tree until I felt that the wind was following me.

"Gaia?"

I asked to myself. Then a green light over by my right shoulder. Whispering something into my ear.

"I have your back... Now fight for what is right."

The light said to me. As the wind surrounded my body. It gave me the momentum of flight and sent me to the other side of the tree. I was floating in the sky. The wind was keeping me at float while I was looking around for Mecha. Then my eyes picked an evil presence under me. As I looked down. I saw Mecha standing on the tip of the tree, waiting for me to get down.

"Dj... I was expecting Dennis to fight me, but you shall do for now."

Mecha said to me.

"So what? I can still take you on!!"

My fists began powered up as I was dropping on Mecha. He ended up moving out of the way as I punched the tip of the tree, but it sent a giant sharp leaf at Mecha. Mecha blocked it by using both of his arms, but he only received a slight cut.

"This tree is part of your weapon? Then I shall burn it to the ground!!" Mecha yelled.

His right hand changed into a flamethrower, and he was pointing it towards me.

"You think a fire like that, can stop me? Then think again. You should reconsider your options!!" I said to Mecha.

I then charged at him with my left hand in front while I had my right hand ready with a fist. As I was approaching. Mecha didn't move. This gave me the chance to strike. I moved the flamethrower away with my left hand while I my right hand came in and punched him straight in his face. It sent him back, gaining some distance away from me. Then he turned his left hand as a rocket launcher.

"You got to be kidding me..."

I said to myself. I then placed my guard up, and I got covered by extended branches from the tree.

"Say your prayers!!" Mecha screamed at me as he sent a missile at me.

The missile detonated as it made contacted with the branches, but it took away my current guard from the explosion. I couldn't see anything from the smoke cloud from the explosion until Mecha passed by me at full speed with his right hand turning into a light machine gun barrel. He then smacked me with the gun barrel and sent me out of the sky. As I fell. I was hearing the same voice again.

"What are you doing?"

The voice asked me.

"Being messed around with."

I said to the voice. I then saw Mecha drooping down at me while shooting at me. As we both descended thru the tree. Time was slowing down.

"I didn't choose a quitter. Now focus and show him who is in charge!!" The voice yelled at me. It demands me to give it my all.

"I guess this won't hurt for a while... Embodiment of nature!!" I said out loud. My body was being surrounded by leaf's. Covering me while I was concentrating on my next move.

"This is another foolish attempt, and you will die trying." Mecha said to me. He then laughed at me.

But he was wrong, I looked at him with a smile. As if I was going mad with power. I then snapped my fingers and created a vortex that kept Mecha in his place.

"Seems like you got a problem, Mecha. If I have learned something from the last fight. Is that I wasn't fighting at my full potential. You may say whatever you want to say. You will not beat me today."

I said to Mecha. I have him trapped and I could end this fight with a powerful hit, but something was holding me back. As if I got frozen in place.

"I guess the poison kicked in." Mecha said to me as he smirked.

"The moment I passed by you. I injected you with a paralysis poison. Now you can't move or scream for help." Mecha said. Then his body showed a black mist. The same kind as the ns.

It all got silent. I couldn't move or say anything. I just stood there and watched Mecha, slowly getting out of the vortex. He then pointed at me and was charging up one more blast.

"Hold it!!"

Mecha stopped after hearing a woman's voice from behind him. He turned around and saw a woman with long emerald green hair wearing a maid outfit.

"Gaia?"

"I won't allow this to continue no longer, leave or face the anger of mother nature!" Gaia said to Mecha.

"HA!! What can a pest like you do to the likes of me?!" Mecha asked while he pointed at Gaia. It worried me on how things will end. But I felt the poison go away, and I regained my movements once more.

"That's it!! I had it already!!" I yelled. I then grabbed Mecha and tossed him at the tree.

"I'm keeping you here until Dennis brings backup." I said to Mecha.

I then snapped my fingers and imprisoned Mecha inside the tree. This was my only choice since killing him was out of the option. Gaia vanished once the fight was over, but something made little sense. I felt something nearby that could cause trouble.

I then looked at the ground and saw a man with a plague doctor mask.

"Wait, is that Lod?"

I asked myself. Lod then touched the tree and made it disappear. And as a result, I lost control to stay a float in the air. I landed hard on the ground, groaning in pain from a few chattered bones.

"Until we meet again, Dj."

Lod said to me. He then left a note, and I passed out. As hours passed by. I was in the infirmary inside the castle. They covered my body in bandages while the only person I could see was Gaia that was watching over me.

"Hey, Gaia. Can you take me to Dennis? I need to tell him what happened." I said to Gaia.

"Don't worry, we will leave soon. Just rest up a bit." Gaia said to me.

At this point. The only thing I could do was wait. I just hope that things don't go bad for Dennis later on for today.

{Later during that exact day}

"We should be at the tower in about to hours."

Gaia said. She was taking me on her back to the tower. I was a sleep for the most of the ride so I couldn't tell what was happening. The only thing that I had in mind was my friends right now.
