Chapter 22: The Prisoners of Harrisburg

The early morning sun barely broke through the gray sky as George and his team loaded up the vehicles. They were taking three cars, two SUVs, one of them Marcy's red pickup truck, armed to the teeth with rifles, shotguns, and an assortment of weapons. They also packed food, medical supplies, and anything else they could gather to help the survivors of Harrisburg.

George stood by the vehicles, checking the gear as Raven, Lucy, and Jackie discussed the best route. The gravity of their mission was clear; Harrisburg had been overrun with mutant creatures created by the deranged priest, and they couldn't afford any mistakes.

"We've got enough supplies to last a few days, but I'm more worried about those cultists," Raven said, adjusting her gear as she looked at George. "They're entrenched, and it's likely they've fortified the area."

George nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure they've set up roadblocks too. We're going in heavy, but we need to be smart about this."
