Baek Hyeon went to the Bureau of Investigation's office, this was the first time he entered the office, someone was reading a book inside, but Baek Hyeon just paid his respects to the person without saying anything and sat down on a chair.

"Is that how you greet people?" the person said to Baek Hyeon.

Baek Hyeon just stared at the person, then the person closed his book and stood up.

"At least say hello, we are colleagues, how can it be the first meeting but it looks ugly, be friendly," said the person a little arrogantly.

"I'm Baek Hyeon, aren't you also new here?" Baek Hyeon said making the man gulp.

"I'm one day faster than you, um.. Baek Hyeon," said the man somewhat arrogantly, then fell silent when he heard Baek Hyeon's name.

"Wait, you are Baek Hyeon?" the man asked Baek Hyeon.

"Yes."

"Baek Hyeon, isn't he in the Royal Advisory section, why is he here? He's a very cool man," the man muttered to himself then sat back in his chair and opened his book again.

"I'm Deokwon, Jeon Deokwon," said the man introducing himself and Baek Hyeon just nodded his head.

They were silent for a moment, Baek Hyeon then looked around, checking the books that were there, he opened and read the book whose title was interesting to him. He suddenly remembered that Mr. Moju had been punished for poisoning the Queen. He scanned the bookshelves carefully, making sure no titles were missed.

"Hey Deokwon, are all records of people who made mistakes recorded here?" Baek Hyeon asked curiously.

"Should be, so why?" asked Deokwon.

"Where's the crime record from four years ago?" Baek Hyeon asked again.

"I've only been here for two day, how can I immediately hold this many books," replied Deokwon.

"Aish.. I shouldn't have asked you," said Baek Hyeon while looking for his book.

"Aish .. let me help look for records four years ago," replied Deokwon annoyed.

Baek Hyeon let Deokwon help him, they looked for the book on every book shelf, Deokwon looked for the book while nagging incoherently. Suddenly Minister Namju comes and notices those who are not aware their leader is behind him.

"What are you doing?" Minister Namju asked making them all shocked.

"Ouch!" Deokwon's head was hit by a book that fell from the top shelf.

"Sir," Baek Hyeon saluted to Minister Namju and followed by Deokwon.

"Are you guys looking for something?" Minister Namju asked again, Deokwon glanced at Baek Hyeon.

"We're looking at what year this book has been here, we made a bit of a bet so we were a little heated. Sorry if we're being too childish, sir," Baek Hyeon explained and Mr Namju believed him.

"Ah yes, my master is Baek Hyeon, hopefully we can become a good team," continued Baek Hyeon.

"I'm Deokwon Sir," said Deokwon introducing himself.

"All right, please take your seats, at your desks there are tasks you must do," said Mr. Namju.

"Yes sir."

Then Mr. Namju left them, Baek Hyeon and Deokwon sat in their seats. Baek Hyeon opened the book that was on the table first.

"HAH!" Baek Hyeon's shock makes Deokwon surprised and curious then he opens the book too.

"WHAT! We have to memorize all of this? Aish.." Deokwon said annoyed then closed his book again.

"What should we do?" asked Baek Hyeon frustrated.

"Hey! We have to cheer up! This is the start for us, Mr. Namju must have been like this before," Deokwon said then opened his book again.

The room becomes very silent, someone enters Baek Hyeon and Deokwon's room.

"Hey you guys," said the man, making Baek Hyeon startled and woke him up from his sleep.

"What's wrong?" asked Baek Hyeon surprised because he fell asleep during working hours.

Get out quickly, there is training in the hall, hurry up the man said then left.

"Training?" Deokwon said confused.

"Hey, why didn't you wake me up, what if the one who came earlier was Mr. Namju, he could immediately throw me out of this position," said Baek Hyeon, annoyed.

"How can I be that impudent, let's go," replied Deokwon then walked away towards the hall.

They both walked towards the hall, they saw people already changed clothes and rushed towards the hall. Baek Hyeon and Deokwon were confused about what was going on why they looked so rushed.

"Wow.. what's going on, are there any intruders coming? Hey we should have brought swords but we only rely on our bare hands," said Deokwon observing the situation there.

"Looks like this is training and let me tell you, my bare hands can be relied upon," Baek Hyeon said, making Deokwon dumbfounded.

"Okay.." Deokwon replied then walked after Baek Hyeon.

Baek Hyeon and Deokwon arrived at the hall, people had already gathered there and only they were wearing office clothes. The two of them stood in the middle, Mr. Namju came into the hall, they all paid their respects, then Mr. Namju's eyes turned towards Baek Hyeon and Deokwon who were still wearing their office clothes.

"Is he looking at us?" Deokwon asked Baek Hyeon.

"Why don't you change your clothes? Are you going to dirty your work clothes?" said Mr. Namju to Baek Hyeon and Deokwon.

"Ah.. clothes," muttered Deokwon.

"Give them the clothes," said Mr. Namju to his ministry, then his ministry approached Baek Hyeon and Deokwon.

"Come with me," said the servant.

Baek Hyeon and Deokwon followed the maid, they reached a room, the maid entered and gave clothes to Baek Hyeon and Deokwon and told her to change clothes in the room then left them.

"Come on, quickly change your clothes," said Baek Hyeon to Deokwon.

After changing clothes, the two of them went straight to the hall. Baek Hyeon sees that everyone who is practicing has taken their own wooden swords, Baek Hyeon sees on the shelf that there are two wooden swords prepared for Baek Hyeon and Deokwon then they take them.

"HA! HIYA! HIYA!"

They are all practicing swords, Baek Hyeon observes them first then follows slowly. Lord Namju silently watches him, he is very skilled and quick in swordplay.

"Sir, is the new kid Mr. Lee's son?" Officer Maruk Tuan Namju asked him.

"Yes, he is Baek Hyeon," replied Mr. Namju.

"Wow.. the first day he practiced but he was able to keep up with his seniors, there is no doubt about his abilities," said Officer Maruk in awe.

"When he was in Ming he was famous for his extraordinary abilities, he quickly memorized moves, he was good at controlling the energy in his body, so he was very sensitive to the circumstances around him," explained Mr. Namju then threw a dagger at Baek Hyeon.
