First Sword

Eun Ha returns to Chongsibong, she tries to find out what happened to Mr. Moju, when Eun Ha arrives at Chongsibong she goes straight to the library she entered. When he entered the library, he found Yoon cleaning inside.

"Oh you, what are you doing here?" Yoon asked Eun Ha.

"I want to read a book," Eun Ha answered then went inside to choose a book.

"Are you looking for something?" Yoon asked making Eun Ha a little surprised.

"No," Eun Ha answered briefly.

"I can see from your face, I think you are looking for something valuable, are you missing something?" Yoon said back.

"I don't have anything of value," Eun Ha replied.

"Is that true?" Yoon said making Eun Ha wonder why he spoke like that.

"What is it?" Eun Ha asked curiously.

"He said you don't have anything of value, why ask," Yoon answered then continued his task.

"Aish.." Eun Ha muttered annoyed.

"Wait, where is Kangin? Don't you always stick like moss," said Eun Ha sarcastically.

"That's right, you have something valuable," Yoon replied with a coquettish smile.

"What do you mean?" asked Eun Ha annoyed.

"Greg..." the door opened.

"Hey you guys, the leader is calling you," said the guard calling them.

"Yes.." Yoon answered then walked after the guard and was followed by Eun Ha.

"What?" whispered Eun Ha to Yoon.

"Kangin hahaha .." Yoon replied while laughing happily.

"Aish.. annoying," Eun Ha whispered annoyed while glaring.

"AH! WOW!" Baek Hyeon shouted surprised that a dagger flew towards him.

"AH! OMG!" Deokwon shouted in surprise then held on to Baek Hyeon's hand.

"Hey who's playing with dangerous things like this!" Baek Hyeon shouted nervously.

"I am," replied Mr. Namju.

Baek Hyeon didn't expect that Mr. Namju was this fierce, Mr. Namju walked up to the minister who was practicing there. He took a wooden sword then drew a line on the ground and placed the sword on the table right in front of the line. The people there were confused what Mr. Namju would do with that sword and line.

"Today's lesson is one's character. We will find out which of you can take the wooden sword without crossing this line, we will start from the other end and take turns according to your current order," explained Mr. Namju.

The very end of the row stepped forward, he was confused about what he should do, while the table was quite far from his reach. He tried to crawl while his feet were still behind the line, he finally stepped forward over the line.

"Ey.. he crossed the line," said Deokwon.

The man managed to take the wooden sword, then crawled back to where he originally stood. Everyone was wondering whether the way he was doing was legal or not. Mr. Namju ordered the next person to come forward, the man didn't look nervous at all, he stepped forward gallantly.

He paid his respects to Lord Namju, then looked at the wooden sword and closed his eyes, he raised his hand towards the wooden sword. Suddenly the wooden sword flew swiftly towards the man's palm and he gripped it. The man opened his eyes, everyone was amazed by the man's greatness and gave applause.

"What the hell?" muttered Deokwon in disbelief.

The man smiled happily at the response of the people around him and he started to tossing his hair. He is the type of guy who is easily satisfied with his own achievements and of course he is a person who is proud of his skills.

"He's someone who likes to be praised," Deokwon said back.

"I hate the flick of his hair," muttered Baek Hyeon while shaking his head.

"What are you going to do later?" Deokwon asked Baek Hyeon.

"Isn't the only rule not to cross that line right?" asked Baek Hyeon as if already planning something.

"Yeah he said, are you going to fly like that guy earlier?" asked Deokwon.

"Aish.. I like simple things," answered Baek Hyeon.

"Next," called Mr. Namju, then Deokwon came forward nervously and he paid his respects to Mr. Namju first.

"Sir, I need something, please wait a moment," Deokwon said then ran very fast.

The people there were confused about what he was going to do, after waiting for a while then Deokwon came back with a very long piece of wood.

"What is he doing," Baek Hyeon muttered.

Deokwon is back behind the line, he uses that wood to take the sword, he is clever in all his silliness. The sword fell from the table, he tried to move the sword around using the wood he was carrying, everyone couldn't believe what he saw. Finally the sword arrived in front of Deokwon and he took it, he smiled proudly with the idea he had. Everyone was amazed by him and clapped, Deokwon paid his respects to Mr. Namju then returned to his line.

"Impossible," muttered Baek Hyeon not expecting his friend to be that great.

"Wow.. you're pretty good too," said Baek Hyeon while covering his mouth.

Now that it was Baek Hyeon's turn to come forward, he wasn't nervous at all. He paid his respects to Mr. Namju then stood right behind the line and he was silent for a moment.

"Sir, isn't this just not allowed to cross this line right? There are no other rules?" Baek Hyeon asked Mr. Namju and Officer Maruk.

"Yes, you can use whatever ability you have as long as you don't step over that line or be in front of that line, you understand Mr. Baek Hyeon?" Officer Maruk explained.

"Okay Officer," answered Baek Hyeon, then Baek Hyeon looked at the sword, he fell silent again behind the line.

"Is he really going to fly?" muttered Deokwon curiously.

Suddenly Baek Hyeon steps to the side and now Baek Hyeon's position is no longer behind the line but off the track. Everyone was surprised by what Baek Hyeon did, then Baek Hyeon stepped forward without having to step over or cross that line. He took the sword casually and returned to where he was. Mr. Namju is surprised by what Baek Hyeon is doing.

"Oh my gosh, is that okay?" muttered Deokwon surprised.

"Why did you go off track and disobey orders?" asked Mr. Namju to Baek Hyeon.

"To get a flower at the top, the caterpillar will not go through the same path, he must find another way to avoid the thorns that will hurt himself," Baek Hyeon replied then paid homage to Mr. Namju and returned to his line.

"Wow.." Deokwon was amazed by Baek Hyeon's answer, he embraced him and smiled broadly.

Mr. Namju still pays attention to Baek Hyeon, he realizes that Baek Hyeon has potential in him that he doesn't know yet.
