Game to Live

The start. At the start of the year 2020, a new online community came into existence. No one ever explained what it was, and neither understood what it was about. There was a huge mystery as it seemed people inside were from other worlds. The common theme was them talking about a particular world that combined all the magical stories as well as all of the eastern novels together into the world where it all existed together. The world was named "Game to Live". On January 15th 2020, Kyle saw it in an online community of his favourite MMORPG. An elf character, level 62, mentioned that "I have decided to accept an invite to 'Game to Live' I hope that there I can grind to my heart's content." After reading the thread further, he didn't find anyone else mentioning it. After he refreshed the page, the comment was gone and that persons account got banned. What's more that it seemed anything that person posted ever online was evaporated from the server. Join Kyle in exploring the new world that is full of opportunities. See how Kyle uses the system as well as old and ancient cultivation techniques to stand above everyone. Not a Harem.

Chapter 42 - Yorkshine Kingdom

Kyle went to search and explore other forests to find lighting element, while the forest that Kyle freed from the Spider queen was slowly getting renovated.

The White Wolf Guild was busy restoring the old, ancient roads and setting up sentries around the perimeter to protect those that passed.

The ranks of White Wolf Guild have increased immensely as the guild was getting more money in the single day from collection toll from the passing merchants and travellers than they used to get from a year of hunting and killing.

It wasn't that the toll was too much, it was that kingdoms that were separated for hundreds of years now had an open border to trade and travel. This was an earth-shattering event.

Thaola, the leader of the white wolf guild, the elf with a scar on her face, was overlooking the operation of cutting down the trees. Right now, the biggest problem was that it still was a forest, and the terrain had a huge benefit to the beasts that used it to attack and hunt. Right now, priority was cutting the trees and making a bigger alley to move made sure that it was much easier to protect the travellers for the toll.

She has recently finished the audience with both Kings. The Kingdom of Yorkshine and the Kingdom of Rivendale came to the agreement in the trade deal. Plus both of the Kings gave the White Wolf Guild a status of a nation's guild. This status close to the Kingdom's army and any law was redundant to them as long as the King allowed.

The mood of the whole guild was amazing as this was a true rebirth for them. Even though their power was not at the level that some of tier 10 or tier 9 guilds had, they still enjoyed the same treatment and power level because of this lucky opportunity. What was even crazier is that the new applicant consisted of level 3 adventurers and even, a loner, level 4 adventurer that saw a huge potential in siding with the White Wolf Guild.

Thaola used every network, lawful and underground to search for any information about Kyle. Who he was and where he came from. He was their ally and was the trump card that let them rise to the top. It was only natural that she needed to know more about him.

Right now White Wolf guild had control of both entrances to the path at each Kingdom. Over the past months, traders and travellers started setting up houses and shops that sold trinkets and weapons for travellers. Some of the shops even sold magic potions and elixirs that usually would only be sold at the capital. The camp that once stood there now has already transferred to a small village, and after the completion of the simple wooden walls, it became a real village.

The transformation from the sorry state that they were inside the cocoons in spider layer to how they were right now was crazy.

"Thank you, Sir Kyle. We are working hard and waiting for your return." She whispered to herself. She was grateful and would never forget something so noble what Kyle has done.

Kyle woke up from a sudden shove to the side. He quickly opened his eyes and was ready to attack whatever he was touching, but found that it was only a rat trying to get something from his pocket.

At first, Kyle couldn't see anything as it was very dark. The only thing he felt was some slimy, viscous liquid that had a very strong and metallic smell. Kyle got up, and after bringing out the wooden block that was designed to lit up a fire, he saw what the liquid was.

It was a huge, red pool of blood. To specify it was his own blood. Everything was painted red and his body was fully red as well. The horror that this caused was unbelievable for Kyle. He wasn't not expecting this to happen.

Kyle suddenly felt a throbbing pain from his head and qi rushing from the dantian straight to the head. Now after scanning the air where it hurt, he noticed that there was a small rock still stuck into his head that was pointing out. Blood was still slowly leaking from his body, and the reason Kyle didn't die from bloodless was that pearl was converting the qi that he had into the blood for him.

'I own the pearl my life, again…' Kyle summoned all of the strength left and with all of his might pulled out the rock. The pain was unbelievable, and even more, blood gushed out, but he had no choice but to do this.

With the rock our of his head, the qi frantically started to repair the gap. After Kyle used the 20 point Wave of Conviction, Kyle's Qi reserves were zero. Right now, they were steadily dropping again. Kyle, through the pain, sat up and started meditating, drawing upon the qi that was in the air.

Suddenly Kyle noticed that the qi in this area was thicker than anywhere he has been so far. The qi concentration was at least 5 times as thick, allowing him much easier to restore and build up his qi reserves.

The qi was also mixed with tiny bits of lighting that freely entered his dantian and went straight at the lighting element ball next to the pearl.

Now, finally, Kyle noticed the biggest change that has happened to him. The lighting ball that once was black with some lighting around was now deep yellow with white lighting, flashing from time to time. It radiated strength as well as the power that even Kyle himself was too afraid to touch. The power of the lighting called out to Kyle as if asking for him to use it.

What was even crazier is that it seemed as if with each passing second, the lighting force was getting stronger and stronger as if the lighting itself was cultivating. The increase in power was minimal, and only Kyle could notice it, but the whole idea of lighting element cultivating itself inside of his body, was incredible.

He didn't die. Whew.
