Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. The End of The Battle

(Third Person POV)

Obara thrust her spear at Syras who merely parried it with ease, pivoting to the side and rushing in to swing her dagger at her.

Obara ducked and tackled Syras with her shoulder, pushing her back and spinning around, slashing the spear at her. Syras blocked the blade with Lady Esther, the poached Valyrian Steel sword. She then pushed the spear down and spun forward, going for a double slash.

Obara sidestepped, dodging the attack, and then jumped away as Syras followed it up with a vicious sword thrust towards her chest.

"You're not bad." Syras said as she straightened up,

"Same could be said about you." Obara said as she assumed a stance, "You fight well...."

Syras circled around Obara, "Hm..." She said, "I am meant to be equal to my brothers when it comes to combat. Eventually, I surpassed them."

"That is good." Obara said as she lunged

She threw a thrust at her, only for Syras to side step and quickly thrust her sword at her. Obara had no choice to duck down, nearly stumbling due to the momentum. She then tried to swing the spear upwards at Syras but the Blackfyre had stomped on the shaft and forced it down.

Obara let go and jumped to the side as Syras had swung her sword down and tried to follow up with a dagger thrust as she rushed to close the distance.

Syras maintained aggression as Obara rolled on the ground, grabbing a fistful of sand and throwing it upwards to try to interrupt Syras. Syras did not get hit by the sand but stepped back to avoid it completely, giving Obara enough time and space to roll towards her spear to grab it.

As Syras assumed a stance, Obara straightened up.

"Hm..." Syras said

Suddenly, there was a loud roar that filled the air; Morghul's.

Syras looked to the side to see that in the far distance, Drogon's body slowly fell to the ground as Morghul was in the air, flapping his wings. She saw as Drogon hit the ground, a massive cloud of sand followed. There was the sounds of loud war cries filling the air that did not sound like they belonged to the Dothraki.

Drogon has fallen.

Syras frowned, "So we have lost this one." She said, "Matters not. There are thousands of Dothraki spread out throughout Dorne. A mere battle can be lost."

She then whistled, facing the other direction as Obara frowned.

"W-What?" Obara said

Suddenly, the loud thuds of a crawling dragon were heard and Viserra appeared. She was crawling over the dunes as sand was thrown everywhere.

Syras quickly sheathed her dagger and ran towards Viserra, mounting her with haste, "I am not needed her anymore. I believe the next stage in Valerion's plan is taken into effect." She said, "Viserys Targaryen is dead as well as his dragon."

"Hey!!!" Obara exclaimed

Viserra flapped her wings and launched into the air, flying away rapidly as Obara stood there, seeing that Syras was looking back at her with a serious expression.

"What...?" Obara said as she watched the dragon fly away, "The Scorpions....."

She ran towards the edge of the dunes, overlooking the camp. She saw that there were many Dothraki still fighting against the Dornish, being overwhelmed, however.

"The Scorpions!!" She shouted, "Aim at the white dragon!!"

"The users were taken out! We have to take them back!" A soldier exclaimed

"Shit!!!" Obara said as she looked back to the sky, seeing the dragon disappearing

On that day, Syras Blackfyre killed Viserys Targaryen and retreated, knowing that the battle was lost. She had other plans besides taking out a Prince of Westeros and she did not plan on staying in Dorne for much longer.

*************

After nearly an hour of completely fighting off the Dothraki, Morghul had obliterated the remaining advance, burning them all to the ground.

Drogon remained in the sand, his lifeless body slightly submerged on the sand. He had fought well against the Black Lord, but ultimately, the scales and claws of Morghul were superior.

Rhaegon landed his dragon on the edge of the camp, holding a wrapped corpse on the back of his saddle.

He dismounted as he dragged the body down and Morghul let out a growl. The remaining Dothraki were being executed by the Martell soldiers, the ones that were in the battle outside the camp were dragging themselves back, a seriously grim look on their faces. He had the body of Oberyn Martell on his shoulders. The head was on a bag next to his side, he did not know how to stitch it back to it nor did he have the time to do so if he did.

He walked several meters ahead of Morghul as he looked at the other soldiers, his eyes had a serious sorrow to them.

Rhaegon set the wrapped body down, "Fuck...." He said as he was on his knees, surrounded by the Martell soldiers, "I am sorry..."

There was silence. Nobody wanted to say anything, they merely looked at the body, wrapped in the banner of House Martell as Rhaegon gently placed the bag next to it.

"We won the battle...." Rhaegon said softly, "But at what cost?"

"Rhaegon!" Obara's voice was heard

Rhaegon immediately stood up and walked towards Obara who broke through a group of soldiers.

"Obara." He said

"Rhaegon, I'm sorry, your Uncl-" She said before stopping, "Wait..."

She looked past him, seeing the wrapped body on the ground and noticed that all the soldiers had serious looks on their faces.

"Wait...." Obara said, her voice shaky

"Obara...." Rhaegon said

Obara tried to run past him but was caught by him, "N-No...!" She exclaimed as tears filled her eyes, "N-No!!!"

"Obara..." Rhaegon said softly, "You cannot....I'm sorry....I do not think you should see him...."

Tears ran down her cheeks, "L-Let me go!!" She said as she tried to push him off her, "Let me go!! He's my Father!!!!"

Rhaegon let her go and Obara ran towards the corpse, collapsing to her knees and patting Oberyn's chest.

Rhaegon looked at this with a serious look in his eyes, blood, and grime covering his face.

Obara sniffed, "Father...."

She gently opened the bag next to Oberyn's body, seeing the decapitated head of her father. She closed her eyes and began to sob, her entire body trembling uncontrollably as she bent over and hugged his corpse.

Rhaegon stood there, "He was avenged." He said loudly, "Oberyn Martell fell in battle and he was avenged. Khal Daegon is dead. His body is recovered."

"We should string him up and display it to the Pretenders!!!" a soldier shouted, "For Oberyn!"

"No." Rhaegon said

"What?!" A soldier said, "What do you mean????"

"Oberyn would not want that." Rhaegon said, "Khal Daegon was a Martell by blood. His body should not be defiled."

"A Martell?!" a soldier said, "What kind of insult is that, Ser Rhaegon?!"

"He was Elia Martell's son!" Rhaegon said, "King Rhaegar's son, he bears his mark!! If you don't believe me, see it for yourself!! The dragon's flames that my own wife bears are on his body!! I will not his body insulted, whether he was the enemy or not!!!"

Obara sniffed as she looked back, "If that is true...." She said, "That means that you..."

Rhaegon nodded, "I did what had to be done." He said, "For Dorne. For the Realm. Let that be seared into your minds, I did what had to be done. Khal Daegon may have been Aegon Targaryen, but he was a threat which I eliminated! I care not for the consequences!! I did my duty!!"

There was a silence that followed as Rhaegon looked around, noticing that he did not see Viserys nor heard Moonfyre's rumbling.

"Where is Prince Viserys?" He asked

Obara hung her head down, "I'm sorry, Rhaegon..." she said softly, "He is dead."

Rhaegon's face went pale, "What?"

Morghul sniffed the air and began to let out a rumble, looking around as if he was trying to see Moonfyre.

"He was killed by the Blackfyre...." Obara said as she looked down, "I'm sorry.....I didn't get there in time...."

Rhaegon looked down, "Shit...." He said, "No..."

"This can't be...."
