Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. (Rhaegon's POV)

[A Few Weeks Later]

"Rhaegon!" I heard a voice call out, "Rhaegon, wake up."

"Mm?" I said as I opened my eyes, "W-what's wrong?"

I saw Myrcella's eyes staring down at me as she was sitting atop me, "Hey." She said softly

I blinked, "Myrcella?" I said, "W-What's the matter? Is everything okay?"

She patted my cheek, "You had fun last night?" She asked me with a slight smile, "Hm?"

I looked at her, "You said you were not feeling well." I said as I gently placed my hand on her hip, "And the girls were restless."

"Mhm." She said as she leaned down, "There's a reason for that..."

I looked at her, "Oh." I said, "Is everything well? You're not ill, aren't you?"

I placed the back of my hand on her forehead, feeling that it was normal.

"No, Rhaegon..." She said as she pressed herself against me, "I will give you a few more guesses, my love...."

"Uhuh...." I said, "I have to fly to Storm's End today, can you just tell me? My Father summoned me and as the Prince, I could ignore him for a day."

She chuckled, "Rhaegon.." She said softly, "I love you....and I know you've been stressed out....flying all over the Stormlands these past few weeks, chasing down red cultists...You need some good news...."

I placed my hand on her hair, gently stroking it through my fingers, "Hm...." I said, "Look, I'm sorry I could not share your bed last night, alright? You are right...I am feeling a bit tense and...."

"I don't mind." She said softly, "Rhaegon....it happened..."

She looked at me with a somewhat serious look in her eyes.

"Hm?" I said while blinking, "What did?"

She sighed and patted my cheek, "I am with child." She said softly, "Your child."

"Eh?" I said as I blinked

She smiled, "It has happened, my love...." she said with a bit of tears in her eyes, "I am bearing your child....I....It has finally happened...what I have always wanted...."

I.....I am going to be a father?

I sat up as I held onto her waist, "That's...." I said, "Myrcella, that's amazing....."

She wrapped her arms around my neck as she leaned in closer to me, "I love you." She said softly, "I promise you...I will do my best to give you as many children as I possibly can....dragonriders, all of them.....I love you with everything I have, Rhaegon...."

She kissed me on the lips briefly as I looked at her, emotions all over my mind.

"I...." I stammered, "I cannot wait.....I.....I'm sorry, I don't know how to react...I never thought it had come to this, Myrcella....I'm going to be a father...."

"Can you honor my wish, Rhaegon?" She asked softly, "If it's a daughter, can she be called Rhaenyra?"

I kissed her on the lips briefly as well, "Of course." I said softly, "Anything for you. I....I love you....Myrcella....I'm sorry if I have been blind to your feelings....and if I haven't shared them. But now, I see it clearly.....Thank you....for putting up with me..."

She smiled, "R-Rhaenyra..." She said with tears in her eyes, "I want it to be a daughter..."

"And if it's a son?" I asked as I hugged her closely, "Hm?"

"I...." She said softly, "I don't know, what would you like?"

"I don't know." I said, "I never really thought of it."

"We'll think of something." She said softly as she hugged my head, pushing my face to her chest, "I'm so happy, Rhaegon....so happy...."

I kissed her chest, "As am I...." I said, "Shall we share the news to the others? Or do you wish for me to reward you for this news?"

"I..." She said, "You should be gentle....."

I ran my hand down to her behind, "I will..." I said with a chuckle,

"My beloved wife."

**************

"Our brother is growing fast." Monica said as I looked down at Steffon's cradle, "Do you not think so, Brother?"

I nodded, "Mhm." I said as I patted her head, "Indeed."

I was at Storm's End, in Mother's chambers, checking on my brother. He was asleep, covering in his blanket. He had a peaceful look on his face, it was kind of heartwarming. I wonder if I looked this way when I was a babe.

I noticed there was a slight white streak on his head, it must've been Mother's hair breaking through our Baratheon blood, I suppose.

"About time you come and see your own brother." I heard Father's voice say

I turned to see him walking towards a table where a wine jug was sitting, "Hm." I said

I noticed Mother was sitting down in her couch, giving me a slight smile. Her eyes were scanning me, as if she could tell I was hiding something.

"Why did you come without Myrcella?" Father said as he poured himself some wine on the cup, "You have too much trust in those Sand Snakes of yours, leaving your wife alone unattended at Summerhall."

"I thought you mobilized some of your forces and stationed them at several locations around my land." I said as I crossed my arms, "I should not be too worried. Besides, the Snakes are fierce warriors, Myrcella will be fine."

"I would be more at ease if she had claimed a dragon." He grumbled as he as he walked over to the cradle, "You should visit more often."

He looked down at the cradle, seeing Steffon sleeping peacefully. I noticed there was a softened expression in his eyes.

I looked at him, "I try to."

"You have not just a sister, but a brother here." He said as he glanced at me and walked away, "Don't forget you're Baratheon as much as you are Targaryen, prince or not."

"I have a sister at Summerhall too..." I muttered as I rolled my eyes

"He's right, brother. You don't visit me much." Monica tells me

"I'm busy." I told her, "I'm fighting bad people almost every day. He knows that."

"Leave the fighting to our vassals, Rhaegon." Father said

"Now, now, husband." Mother finally spoke up, "I believe Rhaegon has something to tell us."

I frowned, "How would you know that?"

"You came out of me, my love." She said with a smile as Father sat in the couch next to her, "I know exactly when you're hiding something."

I blew raspberries, "Well, shit...." I said as I rubbed my hair, "There's no point in hiding it now. I was going to bring Myrcella over, to see Steffon, but I don't think she'll be in any condition to fly as of late."

"And why's that?" Father asked with a raised eyebrow

I sighed and crossed my arms, "Well...." I said, "The two of you will be grandparents....she's with child...."

Father widened his eyes, "What did you say?"

Mother stood up, "Oh, Rhaegon, finally." She said with a smile as she walked over to me, "You took forever to give me a grandchild..."

She hugged me tightly as she chuckled.

"Really, brother?" Monica asked as Mother pulled away

"Yea." I said

I watched as Father stood up, "Here I thought that you would have one with the ba-" He started

"Robert." Mother cut him off, "They are Oberyn's daughters. Oberyn, who is my friend, your friend. Who cares if they give me grandchildren? If you keep speaking like that, you will not meet them, your grandchildren that is."

"Bah..." He said as he drank from his cup, "Well, son, I'm glad for you. You'll understand the burden of being a father."

"Tell me about it..." I muttered

Mother patted my cheek, "I'm so happy for you." She said with a warm smile, "Children are a joy in the world. Soon, you'll see what that means. You will fight for them, you will die for them. Just as I would....as your father would...."

I smiled, "Yea..." I said, "I know...."

(Third Person POV)

[Essos, A Week Later]

The Black Priestess walked towards Valerion, who stood at the deck of a port, "Your Grace." She said softly as she reached him, "You have not checked in with your sister, Meleys?"

Valerion Blackfyre stood there, his hair slightly flowing in the sea breeze as he looked at the massive fleet in front of him, anchored.

"No." He said simply as he held a dragon egg in his hand, "Why?"

"Khal Daegon has departed from his mother, he is ready." She said, "As for your sister, she is ecstatic to see your Father finally."

"Good for her." Valerion said, "I am too busy to care."

"I understand that." She said, "I have received reports that Myrcella Targaryen is with child, as you have waited. But of course, you already know that."

Valerion nodded, "I do." He said, "The Iron Fleet, The Black Fleet, and The Golden Company are ready. It's time."

She looked at him, "It is?" She asked, "After all this time? All this waiting."

"This is only the start; Dorne." He said seriously, "Send Daegon. Now."

She bowed slightly, "As you wish."

"And send word to the High-Priestess." He said seriously as his eyes were set on the sea, "Tell her to do it. It's time."

"Father's Reawakening."
