While Peter brought Dr. Connors down and left for his home, Tom was still flying high in the air as he took in the cold air of the city of New York.

"System! Update the system,"

Tom looked at the timer in the corner of his vision while he waited for the system to update, he decided to go home and rest since he was genuinely tired because of the fight with Lizard.

Tom believed that he had done a good job today, he had come a long way, plus he was still training in the Rokushiki arts but the other techniques required extreme physical prowess which was honestly not possible with the hardening quirk.

As his only choice was to somehow gain complete mobility while using Tekkai and then learn Soru and the other arts, the air blade being his favorite for now.

If Tom went at the current rate, he believes it might take him more than a year to completely learn the Rokushiki arts.

And Eiji kirishima had trained for a whole year until he learned the red riot mode of his quirk, unfortunately, Tom didn't have this kind of time so his only hope was to unlock higher forms of gacha to achieve a greater height of power.

In simple words, Tom was not optimistic with the hardening quirk, it might seem like he was being an idiot but that was the cold hard truth as the quirk was just not something worthy of his time, it was better to get something else and work on it.

Plus he knew that the first gacha pull after an upgrade was always better due to the system telling him.

It was like a gift from the system for his constant hardwork, Tom had also done his research ever since he came to this world and there were many things that scared him.

One being the presence of mutans, how he knew that is because of a seminar he attended and happened to see someone he didn't think he would.

Needless to say, he ran away as far as he could since he felt that the doctor might read his fleeting thoughts and discover him, or simply go insane if he knew that the world was just a fiction.

Though that also meant that he might be inside a fiction, Tom quickly shook his head as his thoughts were becoming too dangerous so he quickly went to the bathroom for a bath.

After changing into his PJs, he went to bed.

*Knock knock*

"Damn it!"

Tom who had just gotten into bed kicked off the blanket with a pissed off look before he proceeded to open the door, as soon as he opened the door only to see a bloody Daredevil and Foggy Nelson who looked like he had seen a ghost.

"You!" Foggy couldn't help but shout, though before he could say anything Tom hurriedly pulled the two in and closed the door right as the door next to his opened.

*Clank*

"Huh! Is Sir Tom having friends come over," Mary thought before she closed her door.

"What the Hell is wrong with you two?!" Tom couldn't help but shout as he saw Foggy lay down Matt on the table.

"I don't know man! He just asked me to call you through his phone, wait! You knew Matt was the daredevil," asked Foggy.

Though Tom didn't answer and instead moved to check up on Matt who looked like he could die any moment.

Tom took a pen and paper as he wrote a few medicines on it and gave it to Nelson.

"Go and get these from the pharmacy down the road, tell him my name and he should give it to you, hurry!" Foggy gritted his teeth, although he had many things to ask.

He knew the situation wasn't right so he immediately left while Tom who was left behind slapped Matt awake and started treating him,

The reason he sent Nelson out was because he wanted to ask Matt if his identity had been exposed.

After knowing that Matt only introduced him as a friend who helps patch him up, Tom sighed in relief as he started stitching him up,

By the time Nelson came Matt was already patched up and treated.

"….."

Tom only gave a toothy smile as Nelson glared at him.
