From the ashes (c.l)

I looked up and standing staring at me was a boy. His green vibrant eyes stared into my pale blue eyes. His crimson lips letting out breaths, he stood still like a deer who heard a noise. His skin so pale it was almost as white as the fog. All was silent and not even a rustle of leaves… “It suits your eyes” he said, his voice soft and gentle but had a scary side attached to it as though he were about to kill me. Suddenly a familiar voice calls my name and I look behind me to a new appearing figure in the fog. “Lyra!” screamed an old screechy voice coming closer and closer. I looked back towards the other end of the lake but he was gone.

Epilogue 2: Sagorian 2

I was raised in the orphanage of the new village. Every other child got adopted till eventually one I was the last child left. By this time I had come of age to leave the place but Mother Maven, the caretaker, asked me to take her place. She had fallen terribly ill and she had left it up to me to raise those disgusting things. I stood by her deathbed. I might have not been the favourite but I was always there for her. I looked over to Maven her skin pale and wrinkled. Her eyes as though you were looking at glass. Her hair so thin the was barely any left. The sockets that held her eyes had shrunken in and blackened. To me it was a sickening sight. To see my only form of mother I wanted to die like that. But jealousy began to fill me again as she didn't have to watch the children. The doctor noticed it,my powers, so he tried to take me away. In a frustrated rage I pushed him off me and killed him. His face frozen in shock and fear but also just the tiniest trace of intrigue. Mother Maven called me to her side as she slowly said; "stop acting like a child Sagorian. No one will like you. Understand that. You are unique and special, something that can not be answered. You have the chioce to be the villain..." Mother Maven began to cough wildly her ribcage shaking. I stood waiting for the final words. As her coughing stopped so did her heart, lungs and brain. A last breath was let out as her glassy eyes became dull. With her words held near my heart... I was to be the villain.

Jumping forward about 20 years we arrive at the night of the great fire. I stood in the crowd watching the children. A girl and a boy, young but a fine age to remold them. A man came running out holding a limp body, I stretched and craned my neck in order to see the little skin and bones of a child. As he ran in I knew I needed to do something, they were special, I needed that. I sent an icicle flying towards the only beam holding the house up. And just like that, all three children were now orphans. I admit it's not funny to manipulate the present to make your future but at the time I thought it was a brilliant investment.

"I saw what happened my dear. I give my condolences." I looked at her with a false worried look as i spoke hoping she wouldnt see through the act. She looked down at the ground not answering, this girl was hurt and could still be won over. "You know I can protect you. You, your brother and your little sister" i said knowing that statement would trigger a reaction. Not uer sister and supposedlykilled her parents, too easy. "She's not my sister! She's the reason my brother and I are orphans!" She snapped rudely. See the reaction is triggered, now to pull her in. "I know about you and your brother my dear. I fear there are so many people out in this world who want what you have. I, on the other hand, can protect you both. Mother Sagorian, head of the orphanage, "

From then on began the remolding of them. Bellivia was easy, all she needed was to know that she is my first chioce in the world. That she is my muse. Elijah was much harder as he never left his room so I decided to lock him away until he changed. Then came Lyra. No matter what I did she would never change, stubborn soul with a magnificent power. Nothing seemed to work on her. And I never knew that one day it would kill me.

As I opened my eyes to the collapsed building on too of me I realized all that had happened. I remembered, that caused jealousy to bubble in me. I screamed out in rage and ice pushed bits of building out of my way. I stood and began to dust myself off. I looked at my chest, there stood a large gaping hole where my heart should have been and yet it was no longer there. I looked around my old orphanage. It had now fallen away, my memories, my happiness gone in the blink of an eye. Mother Maven would be disappointed. I looked to the old doorway and began to walk toward it. A small peice of glass on the floor reflected me. My dress torn. My eyes white with no pupil or iris. My lips pale as my skin and scarlet decorated my chin. My chest had a hole that was still dripping with this red blood and my hair so wild and all over the place. I smiled and looked up to the sky. " Thank you, Mother Maven. I shall not waste this chance" I said. I could feel her smile back. This was a miracle one would not often get. To rewalk the earth once more. Make no mistake it was Lyra turn to pay and I knew that was for sure. "How can I show mercy to the one person who made everyone's life a misery. She Took our home, she hurt the children. She needs a lesson because after all if I don't teach her... who will?"

As I left the village that day I began to hunt the person who ruined my life to begin with... My sister. After all she was a bounty hunter and she'd have no chioce to help me find Lyra. Why? Lyra committed crimes chargeable by death. Lyra will not win this one she will not ever win with what she has costed me and my life. Time to pay a visit to my dear sister Leahren.

Lyra shall not be the victorious one. One day I will catch her. It will be the day of her death.
