Defeated Steps

She sat leisurely in the park and mused about her life. She had a normal education in a convent and had completed her degree but not with flying colours. She just managed to pass the degree. So she couldn't join international companies for jobs because they demanded marks above 60 percent or distinction.She was the average Indian student. But her aim was to fly high if possible to study or work overseas. But here also the demand was there for only brilliant students. She was very fond of Computer science but she studied general science.This was because she was married early at the age of 19 years when she stepped into first year Degree. Until then in her life she only concentrated on studying and did not have the practical knowledge of working and did not also have any knowledge about marriage. To sum up she knew nothing other than books.

She also did not know how to mingle with people.

Her husband also isolated her from her relatives who were everything for her in her childhood. Her husband took advantage of the situation and scolded her daily since she didn't know anything. It was as if she had stepped into an alien world where her common sense didn't work. She didn't know where to start and was confused emotionally.
