Chapter 6 - Judgement and Justice

I turned around, and just as I was about to walk away. An intense force sent me falling, and once I landed on the ground. I turned over while still sitting on the ground, and what I saw. Shook me to my very core. Iradon was standing again, but this time. His eyes glowed purple, and he had an insane purple aura erupting from his body. I sat there on the ground in shock, and all the while. Iradon continued to stare at me, and wore the biggest maniacal grin that his face could muster. He then began walking slowly towards me, and when he did.

That's when I finally noticed that all of his injuries had miraculously healed. Which only made it that much harder to move. "I bet your wondering how I survived, well that vile I drank earlier. Was a gift from my lord and master, Demon King Saeros. Upon ingestion, it provides the drinker with a small boost of strength. However, after taking a certain amount of damage. That's when the real power increase happens, and now. No one can stop me!" At this point, Iradon stood right in front of me and pointed his sword at me.

"You fought hard kid, I'll give you that. But this is the end, farewell." And with that, Iradon raised his sword to deal the final blow. Not only was I frozen with fear, but I had sustained injuries from battle. On top of that, I was also exhausted from using so much magic. So at this point, all I could do was close my eyes and wait for my inevitable death. Not only did death never come, but when I opened my eyes. What I saw had me at a loss for words. Iradons sword was being blocked by a large battle axe. And when I looked to my left.

I saw the owner of said battle axe, it appeared to be some kind of Minotaur. After a few seconds of being locked in stalemate, the Minotaur stepped forward and used his body to send Iradon flying for about twenty feet. After which, a giant tree prevented the demon from going back further. During this time, the Minotaur extended his hand out to me and spoke. "So, I see you hate this demon too. I think I can help you out here." I then grabbed the minotaurs hand and he helped me to my feet.

Once I was standing again, I could see that the Minotaur stood at about six foot four. After I regained my composure, I spoke to the Minotaur. "Who are you? And what are you doing here?" I asked with intense curiosity. "My apologies, my name is Tarvador. And I have business with this vile demon!" He shouted while pointing his battle axe at Iradon. "You see, I come from a place called Prickly Star village. A small village located in the swirling desert region of the country.

This wretched demon and his minions decimated my village, killed my family, and stole my villages most valuable treasure. And now, I'm here to take revenge." Just then, Iradon began slowly walking towards us. "Ah...yes. The famous Minotaur of justice, I didn't expect to see you so soon. No matter, I will end you both here and now!" As Iradon was walking, the purple aura around him grew increasingly more wild. This caused the earth beneath his feet to shatter with every step. At this time, Tarvador spoke to me again.

"Hey kid, you still able to fight?" He said curiously while also sounding concerned. "Yeah, I'm fine. I can still keep going." I said as confidently as I could muster. "Good, then let's show this demon what we're made of!" After that, Tarvador began charging at Iradon. And eventually, they locked blades again. After which, I shifted behind Iradon. I then used an earth spell I created to catch him off guard. "It's over for you now, Demolition Burial!" The ground beneath Iradons feet immediately turned to sand.

And thusly, a giant worm made of sand erupted from the ground and swallowed the demon whole. It then retreated back into the ground. And just when we thought it was all over, Iradon exploded out of the ground and leapt into the air. As he was coming down, he went straight for Tarvador and locked blades with him a third time. "Is that really the best you got!? Did you really think that a few pounds of sand could stop me!? Don't ever underestimate me!!!"

And just like that, Iradon's purple aura became even more wild and intense. Tarvador managed to hold him back, but the force of the clash along with Iradons aura. Caused the ground beneath Tarvadors feet to break from the impact. Tarvador then began screaming at the top of his lungs, and within a few seconds. His body erupted in a red and black aura. As soon as that happened, Tarvador sent Iradon flying back into the tree from before. This caused Iradon to grunt in anger. And eventually, Tarvador spoke to Iradon. "Ha, your not the only one with a few tricks up their sleeve demon.

I've been training non stop for this moment." Tarvador then pointed his battle axe at Iradon and continued. "Get ready demon, it's time to show you my true power!" Tarvadors eyes glowed red with fury as he charged at Iradon. Their blades clashed, but no matter what. Neither of them could get a hit on the other. They just kept blocking or parrying each other's attacks. Their blades kept clashing, and now they were stuck in a stalemate. Every clash also resulted in large shock waves being sent out and rocking the battlefield.

I decided to use this chance, to shift to Iradon's left side. I then decided to kick him, and I sent him flying into his castles wall. He immediately got back up and charged at me and Tarvador. Tarvador blocked his attack, and while their blades were clashing. I shifted and kicked Iradon square in his jaw, sending him flying into the air again for about a hundred feet. I shifted above him, but this time. I decided to punch him in the stomach with another spell of my own design.

"Have some of this! Song of the wind, second symphony, piercing air knock!" The punch sent him straight into the ground again, and when I saw him land. It looked like everything moved in slow motion, and I could see every second of Iradons impact. The resulting force also caused Iradon to cough up a massive amount of blood. I then shifted right on top of him, and decided to hit him with one final attack. "End of the line demon." I put my right hand out, and decided to use a fire spell I learned from Kenith. "See you in hell demon scum, burning shamrock inferno!"

I fired off a massive wave of scorching green flames, this caused a giant hole to be created in the ground. The hole was about fifty feet wide, and appeared to go straight down to an unknown depth. Me and Tarvador both gazed straight down the hole. And after a few seconds of seeing nothing but darkness. I spoke to Tarvador. "I don't know about you man, but there's no way he survived that." I said with as much hope I could muster. Tarvador then looked at me and responded.

"You may be right, even I don't know how he'd ever be able to come back from that." After coming to this conclusion, me and Tarvador decided to walk away. However, after getting about two feet away from the hole. We stopped dead in our tracks as we heard what sounded like an explosion. We then turned around, and were greeted by a massive purple light that erupted from the hole. Once the light dispersed, we saw Iradon. Only now, he had large black demonic looking wings.

And he was flying about fifteen feet above the hole. I also noticed that he had black veins bulging from his eyes, as well as small horns of various sizes plastered all over his face. The most notable thing however, was that he had a mixture of red, black, and purple aura swirling around his body. "Fools! I'm not some one trick pony! And now, it's time for your complete annihilation!" Me and Tarvador looked at the demon, then we looked at each other for a second. In this moment, it was like something finally clicked. It was like, even though me and Tarvador had just barely met today. It felt like we had known each other for our entire lives. I wasn't completely sure what this was about, but I decided I would take advantage of this. And soon, we both smirked and nodded at each other. Like we both knew what the other was thinking, and in this moment. I knew exactly what we needed to do.
