A light knock on the door, followed by a click. Amelia smiled at the guy who came in, who froze in the doorway, not taking his admiring eyes off the girl.

"Well, how do I look?" she embarrassedly tucked a strand of hair that had jumped out behind her ear.

"You're beautiful, Lia. The most beautiful person I've ever seen." Simon learned to breathe again a few seconds later, but his eyes stuck to the bride.

Her dress was not lush, but rather simple. But in this simplicity, there was so much sophistication that the guy could not find more detailed epithets other than "beautiful". Amelia resembled a flower of delicate white calla lilies, like those that were in her hands as a bouquet. Locks of brown hair were adorned with several hairpins that looked like a scattering of diamonds. But the brightest diamonds were her happy eyes. Even if she had put on some rags, she would have been no less beautiful.

"I think we should hurry, or the boss will kill me before I finish your ceremony," Simon extended his elbow to the girl, and Amelia put her hand in.

"Thank you."

"No, thank YOU. This is the least I can do for you. And it is a great honor for me to marry the daughter of Dr. Martin," Simon said quietly as he helped Amelia down the stairs, holding her hand and guiding her toward the exit.

When the wedding path appeared ahead, he slowed down and squeezed the girl's hand, "Amelia, I'm sorry, I know this will sound inappropriate, but I want you to know," the guy took a breath, collecting all the determination, "I love you. I wish you and the Master to be happy. Whatever happens in the future, remember, I will always help you. Just remember this, okay?"

Amelia smiled, stood up on her toes and kissed his cheek, "Thanks, Brian. I'll remember that."

Simon nodded, kissed her palm and straightened his back, with each step he was more nervous than the bride. "I suddenly remembered that the boss has excellent hearing. He won't kill me after the ceremony, will he?"

"I will do my best to prevent this from happening," the girl giggled as they walked to the start of the walkway, and Amelia's heart fluttered as she saw the one who was waiting for her at the altar.

Marcus stood in an arch of white flowers decorated with round lanterns. Their warm light fell on his hair, creating a glowing effect. The white tuxedo turned him into an angel who accidentally descended to earth and did not want to come back after meeting a beautiful girl.

His face was serious, but one look in the eyes was enough to see a storm of emotions ready to burst out at any second.

Simon left the girl at the beginning of the path and, like a shadow, slipped to the altar, standing behind the groom.

Light music sounded, Amelia took the first step, and small lights lit on both sides of her, with each subsequent step turning the path into a fairy trail leading to something magical.

Marcus swallowed nervously and clasped his palms behind his back, he wanted to rush to her at the first second he saw her, pick her up in his arms and drag her to the spot she was heading to, but restrained himself. He humbly waited for the girl to reach him herself, absorbing into his memory every movement of her, every fold of her dress, every curl, smile, look.

Amelia stopped opposite and Marcus forgot how to breathe.

"Hello," she whispered with slight movements of her lips, and the man automatically repeated after her.

"Can we start?" Simon clarified, noting that the mind of his boss was still not with the owner.

Amelia nodded, Marcus replied, "I agree."

Simon looked from one to the other, "Hmm, okay. We are gathered here today to- "

"I agree," Marcus looked at the bride without blinking.

"Um, Master, the oath will go on," Simon turned to Amelia in confusion. Their unexpected wedding has already caused incredible stress for all the staff at the base. Brutal military men laid out flowers for half of the day, decorating the facade of the building to please the bride. Simon hoped that at least the last part would be like he saw in the films.

"Go straight to the vows. Ask me, Marcus isn't with us yet," Amelia chuckled, saving the situation.

"Okay," Simon took in more air. And why couldn't his boss even perform his ceremony like everyone else? "Amelia Lucia Teser, do you agree-"

"I agree."

"Boss! Now it's the bride's turn to answer!"

Marcus blinked, "Why is it taking so long?"

"Because you are interrupting everyone every time!"

"I do," Amelia replied.

Simon felt that a little more, and he will cry blood. This crazy couple was not like normal people.

"Marcus Alfred Taubert, do you-"

"I do."

Simon slammed the speech folder, it no longer made sense. Marcus took the ring and put it on Amelia's finger; she felt a slight tremor in the man's hands and could hardly restrain herself so as not to cry. The girl took the second ring and noticed the delicate engraving on the inside of the jewelry.

"I love you beyond time?"

"I think this is a worthy promise from the one who is immortal," Marcus whispered, and the symbol of their union took its place on his ring finger.

"Damn, I should have put waterproof mascara on my eyelashes," she sobbed, Marcus laughed, grabbed the girl into his arms and eagerly dug into her lips.

Simon waved his hand, "I declare you husband and wife. You can continue kissing the bride."

Amelia felt the air around her become warmer, new sounds and the sweetish smell of flowers appeared. She opened her eyes and gasped.

"Where are we?"

"In Italy," Marcus said contentedly, picked up his wife and carried her to a small house.

"You brought us to Italy?!"

"Did you think we would spend our first night in my bedroom? Madame Taubert, you underestimate your husband. Your cries of pleasure are a delight exclusively for my ears. There is no one within a mile radius. So make yourself at home."

In the moonlight, Marcus's smirk betrayed him as a tempting serpent, not a fallen angel. And Amelia was ready to taste this apple of passion that came from the man, covering her completely.

Marcus tugged at the handle of the front door, which was unlocked, brought in the girl, and slammed the door with his foot. Not turning on the light, he walked down the corridor, passing several rooms that Amelia could distinguish as a kitchen and a living room, and went into the farthest, which turned out to be a bedroom.

Large window-doors that occupied one wall let in moonlight, making the room seem filled with magic. Marcus put Amelia on the floor, threw the girl's hair in the front and slowly began to unbutton her dress...

"You're beautiful," he said, kneeling down and grabbing Amelia's hips. A seductive moan escaped her lips as she leaned her bare back against the glass door to keep her balance. Amelia ran her fingers through the man's hair, tilted her head back, and exhaled. The cool glass was too much of a contrast to his hot lips.

"Mmm, Marcus, I can't wait any-"

She didn't need to go on, he understood her without words. The man stood up, pressing his mouth to hers and sliding his tongue inward, letting the girl feel her taste on it. He lifted her into his arms, without interrupting the kiss, and laid her gently on the bed.

Amelia had never imagined skin-to-skin contact could be so pleasant, Marcus's broad back hiding her fragile body like a protective canopy. He put her leg on his thigh, dug into the girl's lips and leaned forward. She closed her eyes and dug her nails into his back.

"Focus on my feelings, so you'll like it better now," Marcus kissed her neck, resting one elbow on the bed and stroking the girl's thigh with his other hand.

Amelia felt the pain give way to something new, and this new sensation grew with every second. Marcus repeated his movement, the girl threw her head back and let out a moan, the man's eyes darkened with the feeling of their joint pleasure.

"God, I wanted to test it from the first second you tied our souls. I can feel you as myself. You are the best thing that has happened in my life. I love you so much," he continued to move to the beat, feeling every surge of her emotions.

All these years after awakening, his breath was incomplete, his heartbeat was incomplete, incomplete was he.

But now, like the moon was full, complete in the sky, with her complete was he.

Mere Haath Mein - Full Song / Fanaa

I don't know Hindi, but it has English subs. (I borrowed two last lines from it). The song is a gem, I think it suits perfectly for this chapter. ^_^

The movie is also good. I am sure some of my Indian readers saw it. it's old but gold.

Stay safe and may your loved ones always be with you!
