Another week flew by and the university was holding an orientation day for the students. Ayame wanted to go since she figured it would be good to know where things were. Kasumi said she didn't care, but on the inside, she really wanted to go and Ayame was able to see it written all over her face.
During the week they both got used to sleeping together, but they hadn't snuggled like they did the first night. Although Ayame enjoyed it, she wanted to make sure she didn't get swayed in any way when deciding how she felt.
She made it clear to Kasumi to stop being so aggressive and she understood since a more authentic response would be worth it. Kasumi could try to force her way, but there would always be a doubt that is it really love. So by setting the boundaries, when the time came that Ayame decides, it will be more meaningful.
"You ready to go?" Kasumi peeked into the room wondering if Ayame was ready to head out.
"I think so." Ayame just finished getting changed into a skirt and orange button-up shirt that tucked into her skirt. She of course still wore her stockings, but she was wondering if her outfit was appropriate.
"You look great, probably too professional." Kasumi was a lot more casual and wore just jeans with a dark purple shirt and jacket over the top.
"Still got to make a good impression." In her head, everything had to be perfect so she didn't feel self-conscious and Kasumi's words helped negate that feeling.
"Hai, hai, just so you know we need to be there in 30 minutes." Kasumi knew saying the time will get Ayame to move since being late is the last thing she wants.
"Oh shit okay let's go." Ayame was satisfied with how she looked and fast-walked out of the room following Kasumi.

Walking through the streets, Kasumi followed the map on her phone to campus. Ayame walked beside her while looking around since it was odd to walk through the streets instead of roof hopping.
"It should just be ahead." Kasumi saw they were close to the campus, but she didn't really see anything. However, the flood of young people walking by told her they were in the right area.
"Oh, there it is, Alenia University." Ayame saw across the road a sign with the university's logo. Students were funnelling through checks that were set up in front of a set of stairs, giving out student IDs.
Kasumi was busy looking at her side of the road and felt a little stupid not noticing the massive congregation of students.
Unlike other roads this one only allowed trams to go by, so they could cross the street without waiting for lights since trams were not as frequent as cars.
Crossing the road, they got in line together hoping they wouldn't be late. Luckily there were many lines processing people so they didn't need to wait long.
"Name please." A lady sat behind a desk with a laptop asking for Kasumi's name.
"Kasumi Kurai." Saying her name, the woman typed something on the laptop and after pressing enter, a plastic card emerged from an odd-looking printer.
"This is your access card and it will allow you to enter the classrooms." Giving a brief explanation she gestured for her to move forward. Kasumi took the card and waited off to the side for Ayame's turn to finish.
"Name?"
"Ayame Sakura." Ayame was a bit embarrassed to say her name since she never understood the meaning behind it. It was a last name so she didn't have much of a choice, but it felt like it would mean something more since she is a kitsune.
"Alright here is your card." The woman didn't bother to explain since she saw that Ayame was listening and could tell she was with the woman that just went through.
Taking her card she ran up to Kasumi and they both entered the campus together. Reaching the top of the stairs they were met with gates that required them to use their card. Trying their new cards for the first time, things proceeded smoothly and they entered the building.
The first floor wasn't anything special with a small cafe off to the right and stairs leading to the upper floors. Being lazy as they were, they wanted to find the elevator to skip the climb.
"So we need to go to floor 7 room 14." Kasumi read out where their introduction to Psychology class would take place.
Knowing their destination, they walked past the stairs down a hall and found the elevators to the place. There were 6 in total, but the only issue was that the place was packed. Even if one opened there was no way of getting inside with the number of students there.
"Okay let's just take the stairs." Ayame sighed as she really didn't want to be exercising and they had to go up 7 floors. Realistically they wouldn't break a sweat, but having the option of convenience made it mentally difficult.
Making their way up the stairs, they reached the 7th floor and now needed to find the classroom. Looking at the signs, it indicated the number range and so they followed them until they found room 7|14.
The room was a lot bigger than any classroom and was actually an auditorium. A lot of people were already sitting and waiting inside, so they hoped this was the right room.
Opening up the door, some people looked at them, but after a quick glance, they got back to talking amongst themselves. Going halfway down the steps, they took a seat in the middle which was rather empty and yet to be filled up.
"I guess now we wait." Kasumi scanned the room and wondered how the hell this all fit in a 10-story building. She knew the place was big, but having auditoriums didn't seem realistic.
Nonetheless, she didn't think too hard about it and reviewed the class details on her phone. Ayame also looked through them and triple-checked if they were in the right room.
There were about 10 minutes until the introduction started and more people started filling in. People sat next to Kasumi and Ayame, but they did not try to bother them at all. There seemed to be this non-spoken rule to not speak to random people in the classroom which Ayame kind of liked.
No one was going to bother you unless you bother them, but that in itself seemed like a paradox since what if they don't want to be bothered? Not thinking too deeply about it, she was glad that no bold man tried to chat her up the first thing she walked into the door.
However, the streak of not being talked to would end as a female student with blonde hair introduced herself.
"Hey, I'm Celeste." Her blue eyes shined and her confidence was so bright it almost purified Ayame.
"O-oh hey, I'm Ayame." Trying to not die of the blinding light next to her she introduced herself. Kasumi kept an eye out being super untrusting of Celeste. This showed Kasumi's overprotective side. However, Celeste wasn't bothered at all and even looked at Kasumi curiously.
"Kasumi." Keeping it short she said her name, impressed that she wasn't scared. Although it seemed like she was more naive than ignoring the kind of look Kasumi gave.
"Nice to meet you two, I assume you came together to the psychology course?"
"Yes, this is our first year." Ayame struggled to hold eye contact, but she was still able to answer.
"Hehe, same, I just got out of high school and applied right away." Celeste revealed a little more about herself and it turns out Ayame and Kasumi were a lot older than her.
"Cool, what made you want to do Psychology?" Kasumi spoke up since it was obvious Ayame was struggling to hold a conversation which was adorable, but at the same time, Kasumi needed to step in before it got awkward. The last thing Kasumi wants is for Ayame to be seen as weird or an outcast.
"I just like it, did it in my final year of high school and just felt like doing it. How about you?"
"I'm doing it because of this one here." Kasumi realised she didn't really have a reason and only was doing it for Ayame. It sounded a bit sad, but she did have some interest in the class so it wasn't the worst thing in the world.
"Ohh okay, so are you two siblings or friends?" Celeste was rather intrigued by the two since it was odd to attend a course just because someone else was.
"Just friends, we live in the same dorm room." Kasumi took this opportunity to set up these imaginary walls that Ayame is off-limits.
"That must be nice, I'm also with a friend, but she is doing a different course sadly."
Kasumi tried to fend off the woman since she thought they had ulterior motives, but it seem like nothing worked. This was because there was no ulterior motive and Kasumi was just overacting, so of course Celeste wasn't affected at all.
"Well it was nice meeting with you, but I think the teacher is here." Ayame noticed that someone was setting up the projector, so she assumed class was going to start.
This got Kasumi and Celeste to stop talking as now the room was becoming silent.
"Alright everyone, good to see you are all attentive. Now let us begin the introduction." A male teacher's voice echoed out from a microphone and the projector behind them turned on presenting a slideshow.
