When I got to school the next morning, my ankle didn't seem to hurt anymore, and the knowledge of that fact put me in a good mood. My cold was now completely gone as well so maybe I could get one of those heavenly ice-creams again.

Turned out walking while fantasizing about delish deserts was not the way to go. I ended up colliding with a girl from my Math class whose name I never seemed to remember.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you." I apologized.

She shook her head, smiling. "It's alright, it was my fault as well."

"See you later." I said and started to walk ahead when she suddenly called my name.

"Hey, Alyssa," She spoke, "I heard that you were dating Jace Crewe. So, he finally decided to date someone. You're so lucky!"

My eyes were now wide as saucers. "W–What? I'm not going out with him! Where did you hear that?!"
