THIRD PERSON POV
Alex followed Mitchelle after she gave knowing glances with her companions at the table. She screamed her name but Mitchelle was running unimaginably fast in her high heels. Alex didn’t mind that people are giving them weird stares and glances. The only thing that’s in her mind was to catch up to Mitchelle…
especially that the woman was frenziedly crossing the road that she didn’t bother looking at the stoplight switching to red.
Mitchelle’s eyes are nowhere ahead of her. She just wanted to stop the ringing in her head and the pain in her heart. That is why she didn’t notice the whirring car approaching her.
It had happened so fast.
“Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!” Alex’ hands hold Mitchelle’s face as she worriedly questions the girl’s condition.
She managed to pull Mitchelle out of the way before the car could hit her causing Alex to fell backward with her girlfriend falling over her.
