The girl finally snapped out of it, laughing awkwardly.

"You have quite a forgetful mind. That's the guy's name, remember? You heard it many times at the bar last night, didn't you?"

Only then did the girl pretended to have a sudden realization and laughed self-deprecatingly.

"I'm really sorry, I nearly forgot the name of my savior."

Chen Kai generously waved his hand: "Please don't say it like that. I merely helped out a bit. Plus, most of my concern last night was for the safety of your CEO. Helping you was just a byproduct, so you don't need to worry about it too much."

He phrased his words clumsily, making the girl blush in embarrassment.
