Alan stood tall, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he locked eyes with the man who had dared to create a clone of him. The ground crackled with tension, but Alan reveled in the opportunity to showcase his wit and intelligence.
"Ah, my dear adversary," Alan began, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "So you thought it wise to create a mere copy of me to take me on? How flattering!"
He circled the man, his eyes never leaving his target. Each step seemed deliberate, calculated to amplify the man's unease. Alan's voice was laced with a mixture of amusement and disdain as he continued his taunting.
"Tell me, sir, what compelled you to resort to such desperate measures? Are you so bereft of intellect that you believe a mere clone could replicate my brilliance? Or perhaps," he paused dramatically, a glimmer of wicked delight dancing in his eyes, "you simply wished for a taste of what it's like to engage in battle against a superior mind."
The man was tense and was not having it with the continuous mocking from Alan and swiftly rearranged his fingers to order the clone of Alan to attack.
The clon engaged with Alan countering each other's attack and defense in the same manner. Alan made the first move, extending his hand and summoning a mighty gust that swept toward his clone. The forceful wind blasted forward, causing the arena to tremble, but the clone swiftly reacted, countering with a focused burst of his own.
The two winds clashed in the center of the arena, creating a swirling vortex of energy. The man watched in awe as the opposing forces battled for dominance. Dust and debris were caught in the whirlwind, adding to the spectacle.
Alan, newly adapted to wind manipulation, intensified his efforts. He whirled his arms in a graceful motion, conjuring a cyclone that grew in size and strength. The sheer power of his wind threatened to overwhelm his clone, who fought back with equal determination and an expressionless face.
It had the same wind abilities as Alan, matched him blow for blow. He conjured his own cyclone, a tempest born of his fierce resolve. The two cyclones clashed, unleashing a cacophony of howling winds that echoed throughout the arena.
The fight dragged on without a result and due to Alan being a human he started to tire a bit as his energy pool declined. The fights raged on as the aura around them became dense and trees started to sway like crazy due to intense wind release.
they both kicked one another before creating distance and taking their stance once more, to Alan it felt like he was looking through a mirror as his exact same moves were being copied and displayed, he knew he had to bring up something that his clone didn't possess.
Before they could spar again 5 shadowy figures flew above him and gave off a strong feeling, but they didn't stop there but rather kept moving in the direction where Barry and Gabriel were, They were reinforcements to hold them off until Alan could be dealt with.
Alan had figured this much out and he knew he had to hurry as his brothers could be in danger but he had more important things to worry about now.
[On Barry's side]
"These were some stubborn Fellas, well we better get going and support Alan", ordered Barry.
They both grabbed their katanas and started to fly through the forest and in the direction of Alan, but Barry sensed something and knew something was wrong still, he kept going and going, and at some point, he realized he had gone too far as he couldn't feel the presence of Alans Aura anymore. He turned back but nothin, after some while he noticed he was not moving forward nor backward but he was in a loop.
Gabriel freaked out and started to worry as he was in some kind of spell and wasn't skilled enough to break it. While Barry on the other hand had no expression and it felt like he had countered this before in his life.
[Light Type: Luminous Liberation]
Description: The user gathers radiant energy within themselves, forming a brilliant aura of pure light. With a burst of power, they release the luminous energy in a concentrated beam or wave, directed at the spell or enchantment that binds them. The intense radiance disrupts the dark or magical energies, unraveling the spell and setting the user free.
The Luminous Liberation move harnesses the positive and purifying qualities of light, countering the negative or restrictive forces of the spell. As the radiant energy is unleashed, it creates a dazzling spectacle, illuminating the area and symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
The spell broke as Barry and Gabriel found themselves on the ground being glared down by 5 people standing on trees. Those people jumped down and while gliding downwards all five become one and upon impact it was only one man standing against them.
"Huh, who are you?", questioned Barry.
"Why I would love to, I'm Francis Cade from the Illusionary Clan. When I heard you had stepped foot inside our clan I had to personally meet you,.... Barry"
The last sentence shocked Barry and Gabriel as he had no idea who he was but they had no time to waste and hear his story as Alan could be in danger.
Barry, a skilled user of light abilities, found himself locked in a fierce battle against Francis, a formidable opponent with the power to manipulate illusions. As the clash ensued, Barry quickly realized the challenge before him.
Francis, cunning and strategic, unleashed a barrage of illusory attacks that tested Barry's perception and ability to discern reality. Illusions danced around the battlefield, disorienting Barry and making it difficult for him to land a solid hit.
No matter how hard Barry tried to strike back, his light-based attacks seemed to pass through phantoms and mirages, failing to connect with their intended target. Francis capitalized on this advantage, exploiting the confusion to land damaging blows.
Barry's light abilities, usually a source of strength and clarity, were overshadowed by Francis' illusionary prowess. Every strike he attempted was met with a clever illusion that diverted his attack or left him vulnerable to counterattacks.
Frustration began to settle in for Barry as he struggled to find a way to counter Francis' illusions. His mind raced, searching for a solution that would allow him to overcome this formidable opponent.
Despite his best efforts, Barry found himself caught in a cycle of reacting to Francis' illusions rather than proactively engaging in the fight. Each illusory assault further weakened his resolve, making it increasingly challenging to regain control of the battle.
In this brief yet intense encounter, Barry's light abilities alone were insufficient to overcome the complexity and mastery of Francis' illusion powers. He realized that to defeat his opponent, he would need to find a way to break through the illusions and strike at the core of Francis' abilities.
As the battle raged on, Barry continued to analyze and adapt, seeking the key to unraveling Francis' illusions and turning the tide in his favor. It was clear that this fight would require not only his light abilities but also his resourcefulness and strategic thinking to outsmart his elusive adversary.
