Detective Kent sat in his office, poring over the accident photos taken on Friday evening. His junior partner had a hunch that the accident was no mere mishap it had the fingerprints of foul play. But without substantial evidence, their suspicions remained unproven. That evening, Kent meticulously reviewed the entire report, and his eyes widened as he noticed certain pictures suggesting the car might have been tampered with. He needed confirmation it was and urgent matter something not to joke around with.

He hurriedly took the photos to the forensic mechanics' workshop, even though they had closed for the day. The stakes were too high for it was a potential murder case. The mechanics reluctantly agreed to examine the evidence. Kent didn't go home that night either did the forensic team; he pieced together the puzzle, mentally sifting through a list of possible suspects."who could be behind this and what was their motive" he thought.

By morning, the forensic mechanics confirmed that one of the cars involved in the accident had indeed been tampered with. Kent knew he had to act swiftly. He called Mr. Brown and Dr. Palmar, the most influential figures connected to this fresh case. Prof. Maxwell, the deceased researcher, had worked for Brown's company, while Palmar was Edithe's husband the woman still recovering in the hospital.

As Mr. Brown and Dr. Palmar arrived at the police station, Prof. Maxwell's wife, Mrs. Mary, was already there. Kent informed them that a murder investigation was underway. He needed their statements, hoping they held crucial information to crack the case. Mrs. Mary Maxwell was the first to be interviewed, and her responses hinted at workplace tensions. The deceased researcher had ties to Brown's company. As the head of the research unit it was natural that he would have enemies at work.Next up was Mr. Brown himself, who faced a barrage of questions about the accident.

" Mr Brown the mechanics' conclusion of tampering was based on a thorough examination of the accident evidence. They identified signs that the car had been altered intentionally. While I can't reveal the specific details of their findings, it's likely they looked for physical alterations, inconsistencies, or irregularities that pointed to deliberate interference with the vehicle. Evidence tampering is a serious offense, we don't know who or why they did this but any information you have would be welcomed" said Kent .

The detective figured out that Professor Maxwell had been spending time with a group of people in the city who were not very nice involved in the use of hard drugs. It seemed like one of these people either worked at the same company as the professor or was going to work there soon. That was the only logical thing at the time. His death was definitely linked to his knowledge of medicine. But no one knew why someone would want to kill Professor Maxwell, and because of this mystery still surrounding the case, the police couldn't say the investigation was completely closed.

After looking into everything, the police decided to let Mr. Brown, Dr. Palmer, and Mrs. Mary go. As they left the station Mr. Brown went over to Mrs. Mary to offer his condolences for the loss of her husband.

"Mrs Maxwell I am Mr Brown I worked with your husband. I am very sorry for your loss it is a big loss for our company too there is no one that could ever take his place".

With tears in her eyes and her face all red Mary replied

"What am I going to do without him in our lives he was everything to us. It's only a matter of time before we are left to beg in the streets. We are going to be poor forever."

Stunned by Mary's words brown asked

" Don't you have a job that can take care of you? What about the professor's savings you can start a business from it"

" I do not have any working experience so who will teach me and guide me in this tough business world, I can't do this. I just want to die too" she burst into tears again.

During their talk, Mr. Brown learned that Mrs. Mary used to rely only on Professor Maxwell income for everything she needed every day. Now that he was gone, she was worried about how she would manage. Mr. Brown kindly suggested that Mrs. Mary come to his office sometime soon so he could see if there was any way he could help her out.

While Mr. Brown and Mrs. Mary were talking, Clement left the police station and started walking towards his car. Seeing this, Mr. Brown quickly wrapped up his conversation with Mrs. Mary and called out to get Clement's attention.

Clement paused, turning around as he heard his name being called. It was Mr. Brown, who had just finished his conversation with Mrs. Mary. Clement seemed surprised but waited for Mr. Brown to catch up. Mr. Brown, with a concerned look, asked Clement if he had any plans like pausing his education and become a lead researcher in his company. Clement, looking a bit lost, admitted he hadn't thought that far ahead in his life and his research and education was priority. Mr. Brown, ever the businessman, saw an opportunity and proposed they discuss potential collaborations over coffee. Clement, intrigued by the offer, agreed, and they decided to meet the following day.
