Chapter Five

RICA'S POV

I sat in bed still shocked of what had transpired in my life from the time I had arrived in San Diego. Nobody knew my identity of now I had to lie low since my parents' murderers could still be looking for an opportunity to kill me and take their wealth. At least nobody could think of searching my name in the web. I was safe for the time being. My phone rang and I stared at the screen and saw the name Bailey. Instead of answering it I took it as a cue to know Bailey had gotten the information I had asked for. I put on my black spandex pants and wore a black shirt with a black leather jacket. I had great taste when it came to my clothing. Now that I was going to my company to retrieve the information I needed to show them who is boss. I went downstairs and took a cup of mint tea. I walked out of the garage as the guard open the door for me. "Excuse me today I will be driving my black Jaguar car so if you may please bring it out Mr Mario," I requested. Mario was one of our employees who was one of the best car engineers we had. I took the car keys from Mario's hands and got into the car. I drove off as the gates electronically opened and I was out into the roads. I got to our company in due time. I was about to get into the gates when I noticed a familiar man walking towards the gate it was Seb's father how come I never noticed him before. He works in one of dad's many companies and by the look of things he looked drank. I drove past the gates with the initials, 'DELION'S ENTERPRISE 'I watched intently as Mr Tevor walked into the gates. One of the guards opened the car door and I stepped out." Miss Delion welcome back," he said. I just nodded as I walked away from him. It turns out that the man I was interested in getting info about had coincidentally been working in the company all along. I walked through the glass doors as everyone turned to look at who had just come in and they all started gawking at me when they realized who I was they all got back to their work and continued working. I went to the reception desk and asked that Bailey should meet me. I didn't plan on going into my father's office because it would bring back bad memories of how he yelled at me after confessing my sexuality and disowning me. Just the memory of that gave me shivers I took out my phone and called Bailey. He picked up my call and told me he was coming he was in the lift. I waited for some time checking my watch making sure I would not get late for school. I had missed school for three days after the incident. "Rica," I heard Bailey call I turned to look at him and he smiled warmly at me. "You seem happy this morning, don't tell me you think I'm here to take over this company," I said. He just smiled warmly knowingly that I would never agree to run any of my dad's companies. He told me all the information I needed to know on Mr Tevor and I thanked him and left. I drove out of the company and straight to school. On my way to school I noticed the blue eyes I had grown to like after saving me but he seemed to be struggling with his bike. I stopped my car and asked him, "Hey do you need any help?" He just stared at me then his eyes went to my car. I saw the look in his eyes that everyone gets after seeing my cars. After staring for some time he answered me, "It has a puncture." I offered to drive him to school since I was also headed there, and he agreed.

SEB'S POV

I stared at her as she drove the car her hair was flowing in the wind it was long black and shiny with some highlights of blue. Her eyes were brown but with darkness she seemed to have gone through a lot in life. I wonder why she had layers for herself she hid things from people but why all the façade is something I would never understand. The type of style she had was almost goth like for most people if you look at her you'd be scared by her demeanor but I was not most people I was attracted to her. She seemed uncomfortable by my presence but she never said a thing only turned on her playlist. The song amnesia by five seconds of summer played as she sang better than the band. I wasn't surprised by hearing that song on her playlist it seemed that she was only interested in heartbreak songs. I looked at her as she drove without a care in the world my heart fluttered in my chest as I felt a warm feeling engulfing me I just hope I couldn't get hurt by what I felt. The ride to school was short and we got there in time. As we got out of the car she took off her leather jacket and put on a black hood. She covered her head and walked away from me not even saying anything. I walked into the hallway and headed to where my friends were. ''Dude how are you?" Ryan asked. I just smiled and nodded my head. This got all of them laughing and teasing me. "Seems you got eyes for the new girl?" I just blushed harder knowing I couldn't tell them I liked Rica. I told them I had to prepare for my classes early so I had go my first class was music and I was excited to see Rica again. I just had this feeling I would be loving that girl whether I liked it or not. What i didn't know is if she would ever reciprocate my feelings.
