Vino left his wife, who still looked dumbfounded, and took the breakfast menu already available on the table. He grabbed some bread and milk and began eating.
Vira folded her arms across her chest, watching her husband's carefree behavior. Vino ate breakfast with gusto, leaving her wondering why he had acted so weird earlier, hugging her casually in front of strangers.
"Vino, what exactly happened earlier? You hugged me in front of strangers," Vira asked. She needed an explanation. "I was waiting for you to have breakfast together, but you ate first."
Vino paused for a moment, looking at his wife's annoyed face. "Haven't you eaten yet?" he asked innocently.
"Did you think I had?" Vira sat down next to him, keeping some distance between them.
"Can't you see everything is still neatly closed?" Vira asked, irritated.
"If you're hungry, just eat. You don't need my permission or to wait for me," Vino said, continuing with his breakfast.
"But you're my husband. How can I eat first when you're with me?" Vira said quietly.
Vino was surprised to hear Vira's words and struggled to swallow his food.
"You don't have to wait or expect to eat with me. I'm not used to being treated like that. So… each of us is free to do what we want," Vino replied.
"What do you mean?" Vira asked, surprised.
"Oh yeah…" Vino stood up from the table, finishing his milk. "That man wasn't a stranger. He's very familiar with us. He's Han, my father's confidant. You and I need to convince him of our marriage so that everyone will believe it's real," Vino said, then walked off to the bathroom.
"Tsk! He's an intelligent actor!" Vira thought. So, he deliberately hugged me in front of Mr. Han to make his father believe in this marriage? Vira took a piece of bread and ate it, still annoyed, her eyes fixed on the bathroom door.
Vira continued tasting the food on the table, trying to forget the strange events. She lost track of how many plates she had.
Soon, Vino came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist! Vira nearly choked on her food.
"Cough!"
Vino looked at her with a confused face and dried his hair with the towel. "Be careful when you eat!" Vino warned.
Vira quickly drank, trying to calm herself.
"Who should be careful here? Why did you come out like that?" Vira asked, not daring to look at her shirtless husband.
"I have to go to the office, so... I need to prepare my clothes," Vino answered casually.
The man chose a formal shirt and coat from the wardrobe and laid them out on the bed.
He stared at the clothes with a thoughtful expression, his fingers resting on his chin, looking so serious about the outfit choices.
Vira was surprised. "What is he doing? Is it so difficult to choose clothes for the office that he's stuck like this?" She could only guess.
Vino turned toward her, startling her as he caught her staring.
"What?" Vira asked suspiciously, noticing Vino's gaze.
Vino brought his clothes to the table, folding his arms across his chest.
Geez! Why is he so close that I can see the crumbs from my bread? Vira thought.
She nearly screamed at how hot and sexy her husband looked, shirtless.
"You need to help me," Vino said, picking up his shirt.
"Eh, what? What… should I help?" Vira stuttered.
Vino gave her a pleading look, like a puppy needing attention. "Help me put on my clothes."
Vira swallowed hard.
So… she had to help this grown man with this athletic body get dressed?
"Come on, I don't have much time. Hah! That's your problem, not mine! My dad will get mad if I'm late."
But how could Vira say something so cruel?
The girl stood up, leaving the food teasing her stomach.
"You at least have to put on your underwear first," Vira whispered, her face turning bright red.
"Oh, I already did. Do you want to see?" Vino asked.
Vira quickly shook her head.
She didn't want to look, but her eyes suddenly dropped, and she saw the gray waistband of her husband's underwear.
Vino noticed her gaze on his waist.
"Can you see it, or is it not visible enough?" Vino teased, trying to untie the towel around his waist.
"No!!" Vira shouted, reaching out to stop him from making her body overheat with his silly behavior.
Vira sighed heavily, realizing she'd given up. "Fine, I'll dress you," she said, grabbing his shirt from the table. Her fingers shook as this was the first time she had to dress a grown man. She began unbuttoning his shirt, one button at a time.
Vino stood ready, placing the small towel that had been draped over his shoulder.
Once she unbuttoned the shirt, Vira looked up at his face for a moment and became nervous.
"Ah, your hair is still wet," she muttered, trying to keep her composure.
"Oh, okay," Vino answered casually, which contrasted sharply with Vira's current attitude.
Vino turned his back to her, giving her access to his hair. But their heights were quite different. Vino was 180 cm, and Vira was only about 163 cm.
Vira had to tiptoe to reach his head.
"Um, Vino, can you lower your head?" she asked hesitantly.
"How about I sit on the chair?" Vino suggested, pointing to the sofa.
"Ah, that's better," Vira agreed.
Vino chose to sit on the edge of the sofa, his legs relaxed. His eyes glanced at the half-eaten bread on Vira's plate. He grabbed it and ate it enthusiastically.
Vira watched, her disbelief growing. He can even eat someone else's leftovers!
She sighed and decided to focus on drying his hair.
Vira spread the towel in her hands, breathing in the calming scent of the shampoo in Vino's hair. His hair was healthy and black, and she trembled slightly, her heart racing. This was the first time she had touched a man's hair and head.
Slowly and gently, Vira dried her husband's hair. She enjoyed the scent of the shampoo while running her fingers through his black hair. She noticed two swirls on his head and smiled to herself.
According to old beliefs, if a person had a swirl on their head, they were obedient. But with two swirls, they were naughty.
Looking at Vino, Vira couldn't help but think he was the naughty type.
Who knew that drying someone's hair could make her chest flutter? She hadn't expected this, and yet, she wanted to keep doing it. Her lips were smiling.
Vino grabbed the glass of milk from the table and turned his head.
Vira was surprised by his sudden movement, and their faces were now only inches apart.
Vino froze, staring at her face. "Are you smiling?" he asked curiously.
Vira was caught off guard and quickly shook her head, her face turning bright red.
"Hey!" Vino grabbed her hand just as she tried to pull away.
"You can't leave now. I still don't have my clothes on," he said, placing her hand on his shoulder.
Vira was stunned. She could feel the soft, moist skin of his shoulder beneath her palm.
Vino took the shirt from the table and handed it to her.
"Ah, give me a minute," he said, lifting the glass with his other hand. "You don't mind if I finish your milk, do you?"
Before Vira could answer, he finished the remaining milk in her glass.
Vira was silent, thinking about how naughty her husband was. How could he drink the leftover milk? Doesn't that mean they kissed, even indirectly?
After finishing the milk, Vino tapped the table once, snapping Vira out of her thoughts.
Vino patted the table again.
"Sit at the table. It'll be easier for you to dress me," he said with a smile.
Vira's heart skipped a beat. "You little punk!" she thought.
