Leo, who had finished preparing food for the guests, came out of the system space and walked out of the kitchen, along with the food he had prepared, floating alongside him to the dining hall.

When he entered the dining hall, he saw no one present there.

So, he left the food on the table and walked in the direction where he felt movement.

Upon entering the room, he was greeted by a group of yokai eagerly listening to stories by Mavis.

"Chuckle... You guys are here, huh? Come on, I have prepared dinner,"

Leo called them with a smile.

He didn't notice that this was an extended corridor adorned with portraits and statues of himself, things he hoped to forget.

However, others looked at him intensely.

On the other end, Mavis looked very bright, like she had accomplished something.

As he wondered why everyone was looking at him like that, Leo's eyes landed on a statue behind Sasami.

His face immediately darkened upon seeing it.

As his eyes roamed around, looking at his surroundings, he realized the corridor was adorned with paintings and statues of him with exaggerated descriptions.

He hoped he could forget those embarrassing things once he traveled to another world.

But to his dismay, he never thought the past would hunt him down, even though he escaped to another world.

'System, care to explain this?'

Leo gritted his teeth, questioning the system in his mind.

[Host, you don't need to worry. This place is like a trophy collection or gallery where you can enjoy moments of the past.]

Rikuo heard that his friends were targeted by Gagoze and his men to get to him.

He lost consciousness and awakened his alter ego, along with his Yokai bloodline.

Even though he had retained his memories of his human side, he felt different.

Seeing him declare that he was going after Gagoze, many yokai in the Nura clan temporarily joined his parade with great interest.

This was a historic moment, the first parade of the heir of their supreme commander.

He and the demon parade moved in the shadows of Ukiyoe Town, invisible to normal humans.

When they arrived at the spot, they saw a school bus, which had lost control and had an accident due to a sudden path blockage in the tunnel.

Even though the accident is not that big many childerns passed out.

The bus struck inside the tunnel.

Except for four kids— one boy and three girls— who looked outside to see what happened through the bus windows.

When the mist disappeared, the four were greeted by the sight of a large number of suspicious individuals wearing hoods, which covered their faces, surrounding the bus.

Each one of them carried sharp weapons of different sizes and shapes, with meaningful laughter filling the air.

"What are those guys? Are they yokai?"

Saori Maki, a little girl with long blonde hair and hazel eyes, looked outside the window curiously.

While Kana Ienaga, a girl with a short ponytail on the right side of her hair, along with Natsumi Torii, who had cat-like eyes and dark green hair, watched the scene outside with fear.

"That... That's impossible! Right, Kiyotsugu-kun?"

Jiro Shima, a boy with wide eyes small black pupils, and short blonde hair, turned to his new friend, Kiyotsugu.

But he was greeted by the unconscious Kiyotsugu, who had passed out due to the previous accident.

Ah~

He passed out.

Suddenly, a tall man appeared before the group, half of his face covered by a hood, with a wide mouth and a lengthy tongue.

It was none other than Gagoze.

"Huh~ Where is the young master?"

He looked inside the bus confusedly.

He launched this surprise attack to kill Rikuo.

But before him, there was no risk present inside the bus.

"Well, obviously, he is in here somewhere. Anyway, everyone here will die along with the master,"

Gagoze concluded that Rikuo must be among the kids somewhere.

He started to laugh menacingly and gave orders to his companions to kill everyone on the bus.

Seeing the mysterious people approaching the bus with menacing laughter, all four of them started to scream in fear.

"That's good, children. Tremble with fear as we devour your flesh, bones, and skin,"

Gagoze mocked arrogantly, looking at the four kids.

Suddenly, the blockage, which had blocked the tunnel, blasted away, catching everyone's attention.

The dust filled the air.

"So, killing kids makes you a big shot? Huh~"

A calm voice echoed through the tunnel.

"Who are you?"

Hearing the voice, Gagoze narrowed his eyes and asked the mysterious person.

"Gagoze, you were hoping to take over as the third heir by killing me..."

There was a pause as an aura emerged from the ritual, clearing the dust covering him.

"Then I have to tell you... You're one petty yokai,"

Rikuo looked at Gagoze with mockery flickering in his eyes.

"No... It can't be... I don't believe it... That's ridiculous... Kill him... Kill the master at once... And the gutless fools from the main family too... annihilate them all,"

Gagoze couldn't accept the fact that Rikuo had awakened his yokai bloodline and others in his group to attack them.

When the attack approached, the yokai on Rikuo's side didn't panic;

they looked at them calmly.

Yuki Onna and Kurotobo started their attack, immediately annihilating half of Gagoze's yokai group, while Kappa used his water blast to knock the opponents.

Other yokai in the Night Parade also started their fight, pushing Gagoze's clan back with their sheer strength.

"I... It can't be... My clan... Is being killed,"

Gagoze looked at the scene where his men were being pushed down and killed.

His eyes fell on the kids watching from inside the bus.

Hahahaha...

With a burst of menacing laughter, Gagoze jumped on the bus to blackmail Rikuo to save his life.

"If you want this kid alive, then..."

Before he could finish his sentence, a katana descended on his face without giving him any time, pushing him back.

"Why... Why... A brat like you... I am the most feared yokai in the clan,"

Gagoze screamed in agony while blood sported from his face where the katana descended.

"Yokai that finds pleasure in killing children... Sure, it's very scary, but... I won't allow a yokai who finds pleasure in killing the weak to become the lord of the night. Right, I am around,"

Rikuo declared calmly, pointing his katana, implying he was going to finish the fight in one move.

"Master..."

The yokai shouted in shock and excitement.

With a swift movement, Rikuo killed Gagoze in one move.

"Cool!!!"

Kiyotsugu, who just woke up, saw the scene where Rikuo killed Gagoze in one move with stars in his eyes.
