Sorry

Margo and Cora came in from spending a few hours in the pool. Margo was busy making Cora and Jared an afternoon snack. She was still waiting on a sign of what their new powers might be. Her and Antione had been anxiously waiting for some indication of what they were dealing with but so far nothing appeared to have changed.

Margo had just gotten the water to temperature and added the bags of blood to warm when the yelling started.

"I AM SORRY! I DON'T KNOW WHAT MORE I CAN SAY TO YOU." Antione's loud angry voice carried from upstairs.

"I don't care. Leave me alone." Jared's voice was angrier if less loud.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you. You're asking the impossible. I can't leave you alone. We're mates!" Antione cried. They had both wandered onto the upstairs walkway next to the railing to the first floor.

"That didn't matter to you before. Why should I care that we're mates now?" Jared seethed crossing his arms across his chest.
