A New Day

Cora woke to the feeling of a slim arm wrapped around her middle like a vice. Cora tried to wiggle loose then heard a grumbling behind her. Margo started to pull Cora closer to her.

"Margo please, let me up. I have to pee!" Cora exclaimed with alarm.

The movement seized and Margo retracted her arm allowing Cora her freedom. Cora got out of bed in a hurry rushing into the bathroom. That last glass of wine had gotten to her from last night and she really had to go. She also needed to brush her teeth.

When she was finished in the bathroom, Cora went back into the bedroom and stood beside the bed. Margo beckoned her to climb back into it. After a second Cora got back into bed and lay down beside the vampire. She turned over to face Margo.

"Good morning, sweets." Margo's voice was quiet as she gazed at Cora.

"Good morning. Wow, your eyes are really red." Cora said staring at Margo in surprise.

"Do they bother you?" Margo asked sounding unsure.
