In the semis we are playing against Mali, an underdog, well to be honest semi-underdog.
The game wasn't too hard and we won 2:0 against them with me shooting one and our RIV Bisseck making a header after a corner.
After the match, we saw England won 3:1 against Brazil and were our enemy in this final.
It will be held in Kolkata at 20:00(8 PM) on the 28th of October.
~3 days later~
Now will be the most important point in my career till now.
We all walked into the stadium. There were 66,000 people in the audience. The screams were deafening. I luckily quickly adapted due to the templates.
Afterward, I walked to the referee with England Captain Joel Latibeaudiere.
He won and chose the kick-off.
Soon after the game started with the kick-off of England's Phil Foden. Luckily for us, Jaden Sancho wasn't in the squad anymore as he was recalled to Dortmund.
At the start, we knew exactly why England was one of the Favorites or even the Favorite of this u17 World Cup.
They had good coordination and a good performance of each player.
We started to defend as hard as we could.
If we could defend the first 60 minutes. England would be pretty exhausted and we could make a winning goal or go to extra time.
We did as I said.
In the first 45 minutes, there were two huge chances and more not-that-good chances.
The first of the two was a scalpel-like pass from Foden to Brewster in front who tried to chip the ball over our keeper Luca Plogmann, who, with his great reflexes, somehow saved the ball.
The second great chance was an almost 1v1 situation, but I ran from behind with full speed and tackled the ball away from him. At first, the referee showed a red card, but after the VAR the red card was called off. It was a great tackle. I know self-praise stinks, but that was a Brexit tackle which wasn't a foul. It was perfect. (Example and Video of it in the comments, of course, mc being way faster)
In the second half, we didn't need to defend as hard as they were already pretty exhausted. We changed from Park the bus to defensive counterattack and tried to start a few offensives here and there. It didn't work out till the 79th minute.
I got the ball at the right wing with our team being generally around the middle circle. The same place as me. I sprinted past their left wing and their left defender and cut in around 7 meters away from the sideline. I cut in. Made a roulette to pass one and shot from a low-degree position with a finesse in the upper-middle corner. Their keeper reflected the ball, but it wasn't enough as the ball went to the goalpost and from there onto the goal.
We celebrated like crazy.
After the restart, we parked the bus again.
But there was still one huge chance. Foden shot from the second row. Very good strength and not bad angle. My heart stood still for a second, but our keeper somehow reflected the ball onto the crossbar.
Afterward, there weren't many good chances as England was already exhausted.
After the final whistle, everyone stormed the turf and we celebrated for a while. It was great.
After the celebration. The awards were prepared and awarded.
I won the most assists, most goals, and best player.
I had 13 goals exceeding Osimhen's previous 10 goal record from 2015.
After returning home. We let ourselves be celebrated by the fans. It was a great time as shortly after, I was called to the Bayern II team with only 14 years old. That's a record.
