Her hand moved to her throat as she felt a burning sensation in her throat.

She was getting breathless any minute, the feeling was getting stronger by every seconds passing. Finally, she fainted and never had awoken since then.

CHAPTER 1: It seems I've returned (1)

"Aahk!"

Something hurt in her throat that snap her awake in her sleep.

"Ugh...that dream, again."

She wasn't having a very wonderful dream, but rather a nightmare. Her nightmare contains of her dying from a poison sent to feed her by someone she did not know, but it was in her first life.

She may sound stupid to say that she remembers her first life, but indeed she might be because she started having vivid memories of someone. And she realises it was no other than her memories, in her past life.

Named Thresse Cecelia Lobelia, she died as a Queen, the Emperor's concubine and the Empress' older sister. How annoying.

But now, she's Cecelia Thresse Yeon. A lawyer who have zero loses. The woman who don't accept defeats and don't settle for less. Which was different in her past life, maybe she didn't want to be looked down? That might be the reason why she became an attorney who is nicknamed as the God of Justice. How funny.

"Attorney, Doctor Lim wants to meet you in his hospital." Her secretary had informed her when she just walked out her office. She nodded in response and walked towards the parking lot where she had parked her car yesterday.

She have a personal space in her office and unlike any offices used to be found in the topmost floor, her office is place in the first floor.

She opened her car and drive to her destination. There was no traffic on her way so she had arrived earlier than intended.

"Good morning, Attorney Yeon." She nodded the guard and as she walks to the doctor's office everyone she passes by either greets her or bow in respect.

'That doctor..he's getting annoying.' Doctor Lim and her was what you consider as good friends at the same time, enemies.

"Did you get what asked you?" She asks as she opens the door.

"God, don't you know how to knock? Hmm? Basic manners?" The man with blonde hair and gray eyes with a white coat said to her.

"Oh, should I go back and knock then?" She sarcastically remark.

"No, we don't have time for that. I have discovered the name of the poison you've mention, a burning sensation and an instant death, there is no doubt about it. Its KCN or most widely known as, potassium cyanide. And I'm sure you knew about that in your years of being an attorney. Dealing with unjust deaths and others." Doctor Lim said.

"Such thing."

"The poison's effectiveness is after 10-15 minutes, so your friend must have taken that after the mentioned minutes. Are you suspecting homicide?"

Right. She remembers saying that it was for a friend to avoid any more questions.

"No, I'm just curious. Thank you, the money will be sent. I need to go." She said before the man could even stop her.

She enters her car and steps in the gas. While driving her mind was getting all fuzzy, then another one of those memories in past came into her mind. It was a conversation.

"Can the poison really end the queen's life?"

Shock came over her system and for the first time, she felt fear. Her mind and vision was cleared, so clear that she saw a blinding lights of a truck incoming. And, crash!

Blood dripped from her head. She was dying. She felt helpless for that very moment. Is she really dying? Is she?

"LADY THRESSE CECELIA! You're awake!"
