Chapter 004: Hero Saves the Beauty!

The next morning, when the early sunlight filtered into a room, lighting up the figure of a woman wrapped in bandages, with a supple body, on the bed, she let out a light grunt and her beautiful eyes cracked open slightly.

However, this moment of clarity soon caused the woman's face to change drastically. She sat up abruptly from where she lay, realizing that her clothes had been changed. Who had helped her change her clothes?

"Uh... you're awake?"

Just then, Yi Xiaofei came over, wiping his face with a towel. He glanced at the woman and lazily opened his mouth to speak.

"You... what did you do yesterday? Where are my clothes? I... I..."

Feeling that even her intimate garments seemed to have been changed, she now wore underwear that was definitely not her own.

"What do you mean 'what'? You nearly wore me out yesterday. You look light for a girl, but you're so heavy when carried!"

Watching Ye Qingrou's retreating figure, Yi Xiaofei chuckled and headed towards the bathroom. He had to get to work at Fate Restaurant soon. However, once Yi Xiaofei entered the bathroom, he felt something was off, as if something was missing?

"Damn! Where's my great-uncle? It seems like I didn't bring him back yesterday!"

He dashed outs quickly, living as he did at the Fate Restaurant staff apartment building, with so many people around the day before, he wondered if perhaps someone had brought his great-uncle back and he was staying in someone else's room.

But after asking several people in a row, there was no sign of his great-uncle.
