A friend or Foe? (ch.2)

The moments Mikaela reached her classrom, she immediately entered. A few people looked at her and smiled, welcoming her whole heartedly.

"MORNING MIKAELA!" A guy shouted waving at her with a wide smile.

"Long time no see Lau!" another student added.

She looked at them and smiled forcibly.

"Shit... we're classmates" a student near the door muttered.

Mikaela stared intensely, making the guy panick.

Alot of people liked her while some did not. But she didn't care.

She continued to walk looking for an empty chair to sit in. But almost every sit was full.. Except one.

A guy sleeping was beside the empty sit.

His grey hoodie covered his face, facing the window.

Mikaela leaned closer attempting to wake him up. She reached his shoulder and patted his back lightly.

*Pat *Pat

"Hey.." She whispered.

"Mhmmm.." The guy muttered.

His husky voice made Mikaela flinch.

'Woah' -Mikaela 💭

"Can I sit beside you?" She asked. Although his face was still covered, you can immediately tell that he is good looking.

The guy grabbed his hoodie and peeked.

"Yeah.." He mumbled.

After Finishing his short reply, he covered his face again.

"Thanks." She whispered.

She grabbed the chair beside him and placed her bag beside the table.

The moment she sat, a few girls were looking at her bitterly.

But the look she felt beside her was more sharper than the others. There, a brunnet girl with a fierce look on her face was staring.

A few minutes later, the class began.

She secretly glimpsed at the guy beside her.

He was still sleeping.

'Finally, a quiet deskmate." -Mikaela 💭

She placed her hand below her cheek, slowly closing her eyes.

"M...mi..ela.!" Desperate shouting was heard from a distance.

'Who?' -Mikaela 💭

Her eyes can't seem to open.

And the screaming continuously repeated.

"M...kaela!!" A different voice suddenly distorted the first one.

"Mikaela!" Her eyes widened.

Panickly, looked at the person beside her.

Her deskmate's hand was placed at her back.

While his left hand was placed below his cheek.

"Hi?" He smirked.

He gently patted her back.

Mikaela was stunned, still processing what her dream was all about.

'I can't remember..' -Mikaela 💭

"Hey?" He added.

He slowly removed his hand and stretched both of his arms.

*Ha

"He led out a deep breathe with his eyes closed"

Finishing his stretch he added

"Snap out of it."

Mikaela shooked her head and looked at him again.

Grateful, she replied.

"Thanks."

A few minutes later the bell rang.
