CHAPTER 1: SASSY COP

"Target at your three 0'clock" Kang Taejin said through his almost invisible ear pod "I'm going in now" Ah Jeong replied

"Hold on, let's observe a little bit first" Taejin said but Ah Jeong already left her spot. "You're under arrest for illegal possession of drugs" Ah Jeong screamed as she pointed her gun at the three men sitting around a small table. Taejin sighed as they all moved out to support her.

One of the men took off and Ah Jeong ran after him immediately. "Hey Ah Jeong, stop right there" Taejin shouted after her as he also took off.

Ah Jeong caught up to the man and landed him a punch on his rib cage. The man groaned in pain as he spat blood out of his mouth. He suddenly brought out a knife from wherever he got them.

He snarled at Ah Jeong as he flung it around trying to intimidate her

"Crazy bastard" Ah Jeong smirked as the man launched at her but she dodged the attack and kicked on his right foot. The man attacked again and this time she caught his arm, elbowed him on the nose and hit his inner elbow. The man dropped the knife in pain as Ah Jeong gave him two big punches on his face. She was about to land him the final punch when Taejin intervened and held her back

"That's enough" Taejin said as she struggled to hold her down. She was just too strong for her tiny body. She finally calmed down as the other police came and took him away.

Sitting at a corner on a bench, Taejin walked up to her and handed her a bottle of water. She looked at him and collected it.

"You're gonna be in so much trouble today" Taejin said as he took his seat beside her. "Whatever" she said as she downed the water in one go. "What's wrong?" Taejin finally asked and she sighed. She didn't actually have anything going on. She just hated the fact that people sell drugs to minor these days. Just the thought of that made her want to go hit those guys again.

"You shouldn't let your emotions get to you. You're doing a good job being a detective obviously but you're still lacking at putting your emotions away" Taejin said

"I understand" she replied and Taejin walked off.

Being a girl that grew up on the street, she had seen a lot of things. Kids used for stealing or girls sold to rich men. All of that disgusted her.

"Nah ah Jeong, let's go" Taejin called her out of her thoughts. She joined them back on their way to the precinct

Everywhere was dead silent as a pair of dark eyes stared down at Nah Ah Jeong. She looked everywhere but at those eyes. "Did you really hit him?" Chief Baek Seongwook asked. "Do you still need to ask? A living proof is sitting right in front you" the bald man sat down on a chair as he winced in pain. Ah Jeong had beaten the daylight out of his face.

"I didn't hit him that much, it was just a punch, who knew he was that weak" she said and the chief almost exploded. "Nah Ah Jeong. You still have the nerve to defend yourself. Should I take you off this case?" The chief threatened and Ah Jeong quickly formed a cute smile on her face. "That's right, take her off the case. She's obviously violent" the bald man snickered and Ah Jeong kicked his toe underneath the table still wearing her fake smile. The bald man screamed in pain. "I'm sorry sir, I'll do better next time" she said

"You said that on the last mission and the one before. I'm watching you detective Ah Jeong" the chief said as he eyed her and went back to his office.

The bald man snickered and Ah Jeong almost gave him a smack in his face but Taejin quickly intervened and took him away.

"Crazy Bastard" she muttered and also walked away
